Editado por Scratch: 9/23/2022 7:55:53 PMThat's not my idea of a good time. *Inhales How 'bout instead of getting items that I dismantle 100% of the time, each and every time I get one, because their only value is the materials I get from dismantling them, Bungie gives us a switch to flip, to let the game recognize that each and every time I get one of these items I dismantle it, and by flipping that switch the game does automatically what I have to do manually so instead of wasting my time on a repetitive, menial task, I can enjoy my game without such nonsense while at the same time keeping my inventory clear to receive my actual valuable legendary rewards when they drop, eliminating unnecessary trips to the tower to claim said rewards, because at the time that I received them my character was over encumbered with items whose only value is in the materials I receive from dismantling them. *inhales *fweh! TL:DR Yes, auto dismantle, please
-
Except you don’t dismantle them 100% of the time. Menial task? You play a looter, you manage your loot. Name of the game.
-
Blue gear isnt loot, its trash. I dismantle it 100% of the time, as does 99% of the playerbase.
-
It’s trashy loot! You don’t though. No one dismantles 100% of the time.
-
99% of people dismantle all blue gear. You are in the 1%.
-
And everyone who levels up every dlc. So a bit more then 1%
-
-
Despite that being how it works, mkay lol 🤷

There isn't a single blue in my vault, I dismantle all of them. And I don't even inspect them before I dismantle them, "Why not?" you may ask, "Oh, glad you asked"I'd say, because there isn't a single blue worth inspecting. Because there isn't a single blue worth keeping. Hence, there isn't a single blue in my vault. "Infusion?" Why would I want truckloads and truckloads of garbage gumming up my character, blocking me from getting legendaries, just to infuse something up to ten below pin cap, when I have prime engrams and truckloads of umbrals.... that I can focus to the exact slot I need. Why would I want to constantly play this 'waste management' mini game I have to play while I'm trying to play Destiny, in the off chance, I might one day use a blue to infuse a gun I'll have to reinfuse later? Yeah, it's a looter shooter, but, I mean, do you miss getting greens? Or is good design, once something becomes totally useless to the player stops gettin then? We could ask Bungie to bring back greens, then you'd have twice as much fun, throwing away twice as much garbage Auto dismantle would only delete blues for those who flip the switch, so if use them, or you enjoy wasting your time throwing the same balleyhoo out fifty million times, just in case a situation arises where you need to level up a primary to ten under, you could leave the switch un-flipped. I understand, "that's not something I'd use" But...
-
So you don’t throw them away 100%, you only do that after they become useless to leveling. I mean this is something that’s been asked for since base D1. If they could, they would of. Likely it’s the shoddy coding, either can’t do it at all or it’s buggy. I mean look at what they did for items being deleted while in your inventory during loading screens. They didn’t fix the bug, they patched it by kicking you out of the menu screen.
-
Bruh we literally had this in D1 for greens I don't think it's a tech problem.
-
They stopped dropping. They weren’t being dismantled. That’s the issue. Not dropping is easy. An automated system of dismantling is the problem.
-
No they just dropped as weapon parts instead.
-
I wonder if it’s the changes to the gear then. Their coding was changed between games. The exp and perk systems. Otherwise they are just giving us the finger lol
