Arc Staff Deflect is a losing strategy.
If you’re going to design several exotics which function around this ability, please FIX the ability.
It’s infuriating to be killed by the architects. Sometimes just fall over after like 2-3 primary shots.

1 ResponderI really thought that there was going to be something on the skill tree that let you spontaneously activate your deflect. WAs the only thing that made the damn helmet make sense. Like idk maybe even replacing the super entirely with the block, having the super regen like a skill rather than a super, so pretty rapid, then activate to relfect damage, then turn off. I mean you lose your super but it does make sense... Huh. Hey just curious has anyone used it on the ogre whatever in kings fall? Seeing as normally there's nothing you can do besides sit around with your -blam!- hanging out while you have his gaze.

2 RespostasBad super you can bully off the map with good movement mastery. When good players(oxymoronic, good players playing arc.) see you standing near the edge of the map emoting they keep moving. The epic game store kitties run at you full speed and fling them self off the map trying to kill you. But this is really the case of all roaming supers that are melee attack based.

Honestly, only use the defect if you’re fighting another super in PvP. The damage resist from the dodge should be more than enough 99% of the time. Needs to be fixed, but the super in general needs a PvP nerf in how much damage it can take. It’s just old behemoth all over again.

Yeah dodging is so much better than the deflect. I never use it

It happens if you get shot before putting up your shield for some reason. Its kind of like the bullets have already passed your shield and they reflect back into yourself.

I only use it to gimmick in mayhem. With Raijus harness you practically have 20-25 seconds of super as long as you dont attack.
