Completely agreed, constantly running out of resources to infuse up gear is and getting pinnacles in the wrong slot for weeks on end is tedious and adds nothing to the RPG experience. Leave the leveling to a system that utilizes the artifact to manage level bonuses. This would be AMAZING from catching up second and third characters as well - something that can be extremely time consuming to manage. I acknowledge that they want to maintain and increase player engagement, but there's got to be a better way to entice players than pinnacle drops. There are inherently much more interesting progression system carrots (multi-perk weapon drops from paragon resets for example, or perhaps access to craftable weapon red box drops that wouldn't be available otherwise) that can be employed to incentivize players.

If you run out of resources thats purely a you thing. Getting materials has never been so easy such as through gunsmith bounties or nightfalls. You literally get these things by playing the game. Not to mention the battlepass that just lol

Nah it’s a common pain point in the community now accelerated further by costs associated with target farming costs on weapons and armor. Removing the need to purchase upgrade modules would open up some space for other more interesting resource uses.

its not that hard to get enhancement cores. literally just play the game. ALL endgame activities give you enhancement cores. if you dont play the game, you dont get it. ITS FREE

Regardless of your feelings on it, it’s a net benefit for everyone to be able to spend resources on things that matter/add gameplay value instead of meaningless power numbers. Instead of hijacking the thread with a strawman maybe you could contribute something to the conversation that’s relevant to why keeping power leveling is worthwhile since you disagree so fervently on one of the many benefits of dropping it.
