It’s literally swapping weapons. You can do it with a sniper and a handcannon, or any other two weapons.
I constantly swap between bow and sidearm as the engagements change, otherwise I’d lose.
Nobody is going to refrain from switching weapons to adhere to somebody else’s “code of conduct” for PvP.
For every one player who actually does well with a bow in crucible there’s 20 other guys using more mainstream picks. Truthfully, it may be annoying when you run into somebody who’s really good at bow swap, but it doesn’t really happen that often.

Also duck. I should of been more clear. I'm referring mainly to Hunters using Oath keepers and a QD HC to mop up. Which is like having unlimited sniper ammo really.

True points here and in your other reply. I do get it, and wasn’t trying to sound so combative. I do know some people who specifically bow swap with HC on Titan and Warlock. Each of them have their own unique benefits in the form of exotics, class ability, or natural movement, but I do agree that hunter/Oathkeepers have the biggest edge.

Sniping with extra steps. Considering using Le Mon with 180 quick draw. But then I think u kind of need to be a hunter with oath keepers. And im a Warlock. Incidently I've never seen a Titan or Warlock use the bow hot swap.
