also the most ad clearing weapons wont work properly since they do not put out enough damage to actually kill the ads.. hell even a devour build is very hard to proc.. .. so i probably will wait with the completion (in did the first two bosses, sheer oddjob, tedious like hell ) and wait unil i am overlevelled and then it will probably fall into the realm of ridiculous when you have the right level , and everything will just die from you looking at it

What worked for me was the osteo smg, auto-loading grenade launcher and a sword. Put on sniper resets mods with void subclass for devour and child. I used a solar wave frame but a blinding launcher might be even better

I do perfectly fine add clear wise with a sub machine gun, I run heritage funnel web and lament and it makes the dungeon a breeze boss dps and add clear covered with basic weapons that are fairly easy to get.

My problem is that this feels like the only decent build. I tried a trace rifle, and SMG's still do way more damage to even red bars... Trace rifles just got a buff. Something feels off about the whole dungeon. It feels like you're supposed to use a handful of weapons and nothing else.

That is far from the truth if you want to optimize then yes a good load out is what I just said, I’ve used bows autos wave frames and all are good for add clear nothing constraining you to using certain things it’s just like raids you want the best dps gotta use certain weapons but that doesn’t invalidate every other build

My first clear of the vault of glass was with a level 25 blue scout.. was ist Perfect? Nope, was it doable? Yes, was it hard? Yes ! Was it worth it ? Now we are talking .. in D1 year 1 absolutely .. is the same effort and stress worth for the dungeon? Definitely not ..

VoG was laughably easy in D1, and comparing something that was created in a separate game that was made 8 years ago to a dungeon created in D2 which is suppose to be difficult is asinine. We’re you struggling when prophecy or whisper first dropped? Both of which were way more difficult on drop. If you don’t find it worth it don’t do it Everyone else who does will enjoy amazing weapons and basic looking armor

I hope you get the difference of „running around and killing ads“ which is what people needs to do since „ad control“ aka : the perks of weapons and gear that have been designed for ad control like graviton lance, outbreak prime , sunspot, osteo striga, necrogrips, etc do not proc due to the inflated health pool, I do well with my raid smg , glaive and ghorn, which doesn’t make it any less tedious ?

Someone mocking the Tediousness of an activity is not complaining about its „difficulty“.. but I guess some people have a hard time getting that point .. it’s like food , not everyone gets it .. ^^
