Can we replace Outlaw with Rapid hit on Outbreak Perfected please?
Won't break the weapon, rather reward headshots creating siva nanites on larger targets.

13 RespostasNo. Because people were breaking raid encounters with the weapon. Outlaw acts as a check upon the amount of damage you can do with the weapon by forcing you to slow down while reloading unless you get a precision kill. More isn’t always better. Sometimes it just drains the fun out of things.

I have over 45k kills with Outbreak. Rapid Hit will not make it broken. Only help it be slightly better. Why not Rapid Hit be added to the catalyst. That ways the catalyst helps the feel of the gun and productivity… just an idea

Console player with it being one of my most used weapons for the longest time A) does NOT need the stability, the thing is a laser as is B) rapid boosts its neutral. Outlaw boosts what it is [i]designed[/i] to do which is nanite spread. More headshot kills = more nanite cluster kills = more outlaw procs Only situations where rapid would be a [i]noticeable[/i] improvement (again, imo): 1) you cant hit headshot kills for shizzle, in which case I'd probably just not use the gun 2) you're using it in endgame difficulty content such as GMs and capped encounters (3 outbreaks + bow was the laziest clear for Lake as an example. Yes Lake is easy, but Outbreak just deletes anything if you stack it correctly) 3) you're using it for boss dps. This hasn't been viable since OG Lunafactions, and is only a last resort swap for Caretaker on VoG The super gain on it is stupid high as well. Needs further testing but I'm convinced nanites either give you extra super energy when they damage things (since they reworked supers to charge of scaling weapon damage), and since nanites = more damage on stuck targets, when you're beaming majors, you're getting scaling gains on energy It's fine where it is Yes - it would be [i]nice[/i] to have it No - it doesn't [i]need[/i] it. You know what needs looking at? Stuff like Borealis and DARCI ;-;

Or just buff outlaw, should add time to outlaw depending on the number of crits you land after activating the perk

3 RespostasYes, outlaw doesn’t make sense on outbreak. Rapid hit boost reload speed and handling for landing head shots. Outlaw requires kills in order to reload the weapon fast. Outbreak is all about landing headshots and spamming nanites, rapid hit is clearly the better winner. Also in end game content, its very unlikely to constantly get precision kills with outbreak. Rapid hit would fix everything. Outbreak is meh in pvp, at the very least it could be a true exotic in pve with rapid hit.

I thought it already had a version of rapid hit as a hidden perk. At least the stability part not the reload which wouldn’t really matter much anyway. Outlaw synergizes with the gun more anyway

The weapon description is literally rapid hit but ended up with outlaw, to be fair outlaw is perfect for basic content but the second you hit any high level content with yellow, all over sudden the weapon feel so sluggish
