Why do I sherpa people only to never get vex after 55 looted runs?
55 looted runs in total after today with no vex mythoclast, and I've seen far too many 1st, 2nd, and generally under 10 run players land a vex. Today 2/3 runs were those same people, and it's the same every week. I wanna know is there an actual bad luck system in place? or is it just a flat rate, and do I just have some awful luck? I wanna know your thoughts on it.

RNG in this game is the most broken thing I've seen in gaming. It's actually rigged! It's by design. Just look at pinnacle drops now. Rigged! When I look at the game, I see hamsters! Hamsters running all over the place! When I was playing, I saw a friend do a hundred Riven kills before getting the 1K voices exotic from it. He was so nauseated of it the game feels like a vomit to him instead of having fun. When he got the gun after a hundred tries, he doesn't even feel rewarded at all. He felt like being toyed around! That's completely the opposite of what they're trying to do. LMAO!!! That's how you know the guys who designed this system doesn't really know how to make videogames! They forgot this is not a lottery where only one person wins and it's okay. LMAO!!! It's a videogame where everybody pays to have fun and play a game they actually paid. But, it's been like this for over 7 years. And they still haven't learned. They keep pushing it because it's what keeps the hamsters running! That's the extent of their creativity. Keep the hamsters running in one form or the other. Hamster wheeling!

honestly the gods do not favor you. I've had friends wait till the 80's for EoT and one who had over 100+ and still no Eye's- they won't ever do that raid anymore. I've been fortunate in that I've gotten most raid exotics before 50, hell got the new (lame) pulse from VotD on the 4th go but I also had to wait for Eye's till the mid 50's. Got my Vex in the 30's. My Bro was one who got all the exotics before 5 clears but Vex is also alluding him as well. He's around that 50 mark too. All I can say is it's worth it to keep going for, especially when you get the cat for it. happy hunting, Wook

I see alot of vex drops when doing catalyst runs for others. Honestly give it a try. Nothing to lose.

I have a friend whose done 40 plus clearances for Vog and still hasn't gotten Vex and I got mine 4thi time key to getting it is not wanting it.

Welcome to loot hell. The vast majority of players disagree with you, just because, and without using any logic refuse to let Bungie make the raid exotics quests, because that would be too hard, or the div quest was too stupid/hard, or whatever other bs reason they come up with. I still have only ever seen Vex once. So, -blam!- us I guess right? We are just elitists that want the game to be easier or whatever other crap people are saying in this thread.

You may only have a very low % chance of it dropping on your first run, but each run you complete that you don't get it slightly increases the chance of it dropping the next time until eventually after say 20+ full clears you have at least a 50% chance until you eventually do get it.

because Bungie doesn't have a system that encourages or rewards being a sherpa by improving your chances for loot. There also is not any kind of bad luck protection. So your chances of getting it do not increase with each completion where you do not get it. If it has a 3% chance to drop. It is 3% each and every run you do. (I don't really know what its drop chance is) As much as it sucks, everyone has the same drop chance. Some just got lucky.

1 ResponderBecause bungie thinks throwing you into an activity that you cannot complete without a team to do the same event 100 times till you get the exotic weapon is a good idea same way 90% of players don't bother with end game content
