I don't agree at all. I like the champions, and I rarely feel restricted by the anti-champion system.
Quite the opposite, I like experimenting with different loadouts/mods in order to clear master/grandmaster content as effective as possible. Finding synergies between your subclass build and weapon loadout in end game content is part of the challenge.
They could however add a few more exotic weapons with intrisic anti-champion mods - at least in the overload ballpark.

Play a NF with randoms. You will feel restricted. Because you will frequently run into randoms who don't equip ANY of the mods....and don't prioritize ANY of the champions. So if you don't run weapons that can deal with each champion, you risk MULTIPLE wipes.

Editado por Zurreal: 3/22/2022 1:47:02 PMOn hero difficulty you don't even need the mods to deal with the champions. But even so, slap on 1 mod and you'll be good. (Barriers are a joke on hero, overloads usually is too unless you lack burst-dps, unstoppables are the only one were stunning them actually makes a huge difference). If you do master/gm though - it becomes more of an importance. But then you aren't really playing with randoms, you'll discuss loadouts and setups before you launch.

Overloads spam teleport, and spam healing if you do not stun them. In fact many of them can heal faster than some non-burst damage heavies, and even some supers can damage them. Unstoppables are actually easier to deal with, as you can simply stay out of their reach if they aren't ogres. But the Ogres can hit you from anywhere in the play space...and their eye beam has a "stickiness" that makes them difficult to get away from once you've been hit by it. Like I said. If you're playing in a team---and can spread out the anti-champion mods across the entire team---or you have the best weapons in the game and can just OVERWHELM the mechanics.....you are limited. But even if you choose to burn them down and overwhelm the mechanics, you are STILL limited because only a small number of weapons can actually do that.

If you're truly struggling on hero difficulty, perhaps try to lower the difficulty to adept? You might still be overrun there but at least you won't have to deal with a champion that dies in 1-2 rockets. Stay safe out there guardian!
If you're truly struggling on hero difficulty, perhaps try to lower the difficulty to adept?
Missing the point, because you aren't interested in listening, and simply want to be right..... ....and present yourself as the best gamer in the room. Thanks for wasting my time.
