I’m an Xbox one player and I’m kind of tired of not being able to see my enemies before they see me. I feel like I’m always at a complete disadvantage. It might not seem like a big deal but it is for me. I am constantly being outgunned simply because I am not able to see enemies at the same time. This means I am constantly camping in corners and in rifts and I have no fun doing so.
Gameplay feels very slow and watching other people play it seems so much faster, being able to run free while being able to see more. I don’t know if its ever going to change but it feels so miserable going from a game like halo or splitgate to a game like destiny where it feels like I’m trapped.

Old consoles quite literally cannot handle the extra load that higher FoV brings.
don't even start with the "but X game does it!!!!" Because that's not how game performance works
Xbox One is outdated technology from over a half decade ago. The future for consoles is in next gen, which is what Bungie and just about every other studio is focusing on. There is no point in going backwards.
-
7 RespostasHow about no? Old consoles are holding the entire game back. The DCV, vault space, slow development, all a result of old gen consoles still being supported. Bungie needs to completely drop old gen, not add features. Go with the time my dude.

3 RespostasAnything over 72 FoV crashed the game when there where numerous explosions, no way around it other than to rebuild the whole game on a new engine

Not possible.
