My PC constantly get contacting destiny servers and I'll be booted to the title screen with a baboon, weasel, bee, anteater, or whatever other connection based error code Destiny has. Sometimes I even get to come back but I lose all special and heavy ammo. I have run many diagnostics and reconfigured my internet with WIFI or hard line. I can't even do PVE content without being booted.

I have tried using port forwarding and my NAT type is open but still getting this type of error code, tried disabling my port forwarding and enabling UPnP, still not working, i have tried using other connection and no difference at all, at this point i dont know how to fix it, i've been trying to do solo flawless prophecy dungeon but getting baboon/weasel in the cube room (2nd encounter) or the floating road thingy

1 ResponderI have checked everything. My Internet is fine. I contacted my Provider, no packetloss at all. Updated every driver. Reinstalled destiny. Installed Windows from scratch. Played it with no other program open. Prioritised my PC in Networksettings. I have no clue what I can do anymore to check if it's my fault but I guess it is a problem with bungie servers. Even got professional tech support to help me. He said it is a bungie server problem and everything is fine on my side. Start losing fun in this game because I can't play a raid with friends without disconnecting at least 3 times. Error code mostly weasel, but sometimes anteater. Otherwise, the same problem as the Ticketcomment. Thanks for help and fixing bungie!

Totally agree. It's not our fault. It's too easy to fob people off and say test your IC It's just lazy. I have a brand new XB S Series and new Internet in my house both are working fine. And it's started happening more frequently during dawning so it doesn't take Einstein to see what the problem is.

Hey, I have been having the exact same issue on my PC since like the 8th or 9th. Nothing seems to work at all. Did you have any luck with a fix?

6 RespostasAll those error codes are a connection-based.
The server's message “Contacting Destiny Servers” indicates that there is a connection issue of some kind happening between you and Destiny 2. This may be an internet service provider issue. Here are some steps you can take to try and resolve the issue: A wired connection is recommended to play Destiny, and if your connection is being used for other things when playing the game, such as streaming, it's recommended to quit those programs. 2. Clearing your console cache or, if on PC, verifying the integrity of your game files. 3. Power cycling your internet router 4. Review our guide on improving latency and packet loss to see if that might help 5. Following our NTG for best optimizing your connection to Destiny. If issues persist, try our ADNG Advanced Steps Networking Guide for possible router solutions, such as enabling UPnP. You may also want to enable IPV6 on your router if you have it. 6. This player found a solution that involves installing a new network driver 7. You may want to change your DNS server on your console to Google's Nameservers (8.8.8.8. and 8.8.4.4.) 8. Contact your internet service provider to see if there are any issues with your connection.
