When you read or hear something like that you know right away that Bungie has lost it's marbles and are so far down the rabbit hole without a GPS that they'll never ever will reach the surface!
PONR has been reached so better brace for impact cause this ship is going down!
PVP is something you should want to do, but when you implement elements of force you get a MEH at best!
Ok so i need 4000 guardian kills for this exotic, now, should i go see a movie instead and be with my friends or grind this exotic for it's catalyst that will end up in the content vault in the future?

I don't play pvp at all anymore, my last game was in May. I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything important.
-
1 ResponderCan’t relate. I love pvp. I can say that yes people shouldn’t be forced into pvp. They should be able to pick their path to get the catalyst done. Pvp, gambit, or pve.
-
Myself, I would rather have to kill 10,000 green eyed, wearing pink pants dregs, then kill 1 guardian to finish a quest, and I used to be ok at PVP. I quit crucible completely, have never played Gambit, (my account may show a few Gambit games, but it was my son playing), and I think I have 4 or 5 catalysts sitting in my inventory that only need the PVP side to be finished. They will sit there forever.
-
I prefer PVP over PVE lately. Atleast PVP offers some variety.... like what side will be mercied this time, what player will be skipping all over the map, will my team cap or ignore zones....etc
-
1 ResponderSorry but which catalyst are you talking about ? I can't find any that require 4000 guardian kills mate.
-
Fomo be hitting
-
Fun Fact: You don't have to do anything.
-
PvP is so fun
-
Bro. The game gets a billion times more fun if you completely ignore crucible and gambit. If you’re a PvE player of course.

5 RespostasBungie has always liked having carrots in PVP. The intent being to have exclusive things that make PvP feel rewarding. Draws people in to try to keep the player pool bigger than it would be otherwise. And hoping that a player that was seemingly forced to play PvP for a weapon might like it enough to keep playing, because they found it fun. I’ve always been in favor of having both a PVE and PVP path to unlock something or earning something. I thought it was a right move to have the Ritual weapons be obtainable in all core game modes. Unlike Pinnacle weapons that required a specific mode.
-
News flash. If you want to be a completionist in a game you have to be willing to play ALL of the game's content. As for your question. The answer is always your friends. Because the only thing in life that actually gives some value to it is other people.
-
6 RespostasI play pvp because I want to. I'm not that great these days, nor do I care to be, but I have fun in it. Same thing with pve. I'm not great but I play it because i feel like it. The secret to this game is ignoring the FOMO, play what you feel like, and have a good time. If you're not having a good time take a step back and go do other stuff, destiny isn't going anywhere.
should i go see a movie instead and be with my friends or grind this exotic for it's catalyst that will end up in the content vault in the future?
Sir, for the last time, the theater employees are not your friends. Please stop harassing them.
-
Weapons you obtain don’t go to the content vault and you can still use them.
-
You don't have to do anything
-
5 RespostasWhat exotic catalyst are you even talking about? 😂
-
I play PVP because i have to, not because i want to!

When you read or hear something like that you know right away that Bungie has lost it's marbles
I definitely do not think it's Bungie who has lost their marbles when I read something like that.
-
Actually by definition. You’re playing PvP because you want to.
-
I'm so over these stupid posts. Bungie is not sending people into players homes and forcing them to play PVP by holding a gun to players heads. You can stop playing at any point. Your not being forced to do anything. Its a video game.
-
2 RespostasI get why folks feel they are being forced into PvP even though its more of a coercion (you have Google). You want the coolest or latest toys and the only way to get them is to buck up and dive in. Sort of like taxes - you don't want to pay but you don't want a jail vacation either so you buck up. I can understand that without going all Rittenhouse on people for stating how they feel. A larger issue though I believe is Bungie's focus on PvP overall. Almost every feature in the game is tuned primarily for PvP with PvE getting what it gets. The PvP audience is large and comes as paying customers so I see the draw. The game is going the CoD route though and becoming PvP dominant for every feature. I always wondered why there couldn't be two routes to obtain every item. I would think that the PvP route would be for the players that want to skill up and get the goods. The PvE route would be for the players that don't mind a long and arduous (Google) grind. PvP players that don't care for PvE wouldn't be pushed into it and the those of the PvE variant (You got Disney - you should know this one) wouldn't have to dive into the combat arena; they would have to put some much longer play times in though. It has always seemed liked Bungie has been adamant that Players play the game like they want you to. This is a killer game but I think the player population is artificially suppressed because of this. After a while players that don't jive on PvP get tired of not being able to get items or having to participate in an activity that they really don't enjoy - they call that work. Folks, no matter what your stripe have a great holiday if you're in the states. Tune out all of the craziness and meet those strangers in your house called family.

Editado por Sweet Lew 88: 11/22/2021 4:28:58 AMIf someone hated PvP, that would be normal. just play pvp to get what you want, then no more. It might be more concerning if someone loved PvP and did not want to play.... Once you unlock an exotic and its catalyst, it doesn't go away. I got whisper and outbreak, I have both catalysts and they didn't get removed when they got sunset. I still got them....
-
You don't have to play anything lmao
-
Haha really you need to ask ….real life experiences always over a video game….if you are choosing video games then get help .
-
Man I hate these posts. I hate PvP and Gambit and I still do the quests that require me to go in there. Why? Because I want the -blam!- reward. If you can't suck it up for a couple of matches then you must not want the reward that badly and could easily do without it. Instead of taking the time to complain, play a match or two and get cracking on that catalyst. And this is coming from someone who has been working on the Suros Regime catalyst by playing a few matches in Momentum Control every once in a while for a few months.
-
I play PvE because I’m forced to. Get over it.
-
3 RespostasEhh your not forced to.. its a choice that you choose to participate in if you dont want to do pvp then dont
