I dont know just wondering can some of the lore masters of destiny explain what happens now.
-
2 Respostasid also assume, and I cant be 100% sure, but I think the loop is we go in, kill Riven in the first week, then spend the entire time powering the Blind Well to get entry to the Dreaming City's ascendant realm to take out Ashladun at the end ot the Third Week, and as soon as we kill her, the cycle kicks in and we get back to square one if we broke the cycle, who knows what happens when we kill her again

Saved for the content vault

Forsaken gets vaulted.

2 RespostasMaybe. Im 99.9999% sure S15 will be about the Dreaming City. While Bungie hasn’t said anything yet make sure you’ve got the Cursebreaker title lol just in case
-
I think we might free it at the end of the season when, oh crap, the corruption returns to the city after the Solstice event. We go and have one final mission, and the dreaming city cycle ends at the end of the season. I’m thinking we may have a scorn season next, but that’s just me spitballing.

4 RespostasA recursive loop doesn't break just because you killed the programmer.
-
I mean if Quria is truly dead, then I might ? at the very least we took the first step towards that goal and took out the engine powering the entire thing however its my hope that next season will be dreaming city focused and that we get more development then and there
-
Not necessarily. We broke the loop, but that doesn't mean the Dreaming City can't get worse since it no longer cycles back.
-
3 Respostasye it's about to be saved to the vault

20 RespostasBungie probably forgot Quria was even the cause of the curse. They'll probably pass it off to something stupid and random, like "well actually, Savathun was controlling Quria. So Savathun is really the one controlling the curse."
-
1 ResponderJust like Riven , killing Quaria could have been a trick Why don't we have Eris's input on this , isn't she the Witch Queen expert
-
-
<No, just the time loop goes away (assuming it's not remote and self-sustaining). If anything, it'll get more cursed.>
-
Guess we'll find out next week I suppose.

6 Respostas
I dont know just wondering can some of the lore masters of destiny explain what happens now.
More than likely I think after this season wraps up or after the last season before WQ, they'll sunset Dreaming City, Tangled Shore, and I'd even wager sunsetting EDZ on WQ drop date
-
If they remembered their own lore then yes it should But probably not
-
Pay some silver and make it go away

1 ResponderSaved to be vaulted
I dont know just wondering can some of the lore masters of destiny explain what happens now.
Next season is most likely dreaming city focused.

1 ResponderMaybe that lens will finally be used....

9 RespostasWe would have to kill. Dul Incaru in curse week to find out no?
-
Well, i assume the loop will stop. But the curse will continue. And probably evolve.

3 RespostasEditado por UnspokenONI: 6/30/2021 4:53:35 AMFind out next time on dragon Ball Z!

no we still require the 15th wish. While Riven was bested by the king she was not by the queen.

3 RespostasQuria being how the curse on the Dreaming City was created doesn't mean Quria was maintaining it-that's like saying a nuclear power plant would shut down because the architect died. Someone might be able to correct me, but I don't think it's ever actually been stated in canon that Quria dying would lift the curse. Hell, I am not even certain that in the game anyone even knows Quria is involved in the first place-all I remember is some lines saying that it seemed a bit like a Vex simulation. And even if Quria's destruction means the end of the curse, if it's anything like the Endless Night, it would take time for it to wind down anyway, but I don't think Bungie's forgotten anything at all in this case. People are just assuming mechanics that don't necessarily exist. The Dreaming City curse could be self-sustaining, we don't know.

17 RespostasNo, quria didnt die she was simulated, upon closer inspection of her skull you can see she had simulated components so she didnt actually die, savathun decides when that happens.
