75 Decrypted Data for a 50/50 shot at a seasonal weapon you want is to much. Farming is tedious at this point as the seasonal activity is boring and takes too long. We need more sources for Data or make things cheaper

9 RespostasMenagerie farm was easily the most rewarding time in this game. The player actually felt like it was worth constantly doing the activity. I think I did 110 Menagerie runs during the period that it was dropping extra loot. That is approximately 660-880 drops.... I STILL didn't get all the rolls that I wanted from it because of pure RNG. Perhaps more importantly though, it felt like it was worth going back for another run again and again. The chances were higher, my time was being rewarded. It wasn't a 15 minute run for a CHANCE to roll 1 piece of loot you want, and even if you get that loot, an even higher chance at trash rolls. There is 70-80 days left of this season and I am already done with Override. Once or twice a week and then I am done. It's more boring than Arrivals public events. More boring than Shadowkeep's Vex Offensive. More boring than Sundial. More boring than Battlegrounds. I've seen more AFK people in Override than I ever have in any activity in this game before, and I don't even blame them. The cherry on the cake here, Bungie are now being super stingy with the double perk weapons too. Each passing season they show time and time again that they do not care about your time invested into this game. Bungie think it is better to keep players on a constant grinding hamster wheel, always chasing something, inflating that playtime. The funny thing is, I did more Menagerie and Arrivals events than I will ever do Overrides. Simply because it felt like it was WORTH DOING.

Yeah and I am still not sure about the 50/50 either. Seem to get about 3 sidearms to 1 gridskipper pulse so far and I have put well over 1000 data into it trying to get a god roll skipper.

13 RespostasUmbrals have only gotten worse since their original introduction. Here's some infuriating tidbits of info- You only get the currency needed from expunge or override chests (and seasonal challenges often requiring completions of expunge or override). You don't earn clan XP from running expunge or override, so even if you play all day with clanmates in those activities, you still have to go do something else to contribute to your clan. These two simple points, make the idea of a continual grind be at odds with itself. They want us to grind everything, all the time, for little to no reward. Absolute insanity.

2 RespostasIt was too much last season. It's too much this season. Bungie doesn't want you to be able to get the god rolls you want easily, they want you to grind for hours to get that best item that they'll just figure out how to ruin in the future.

5 RespostasMy gripe is that once the last upgrade for expunge is done that you only get 3 drops per character each week that can possibly be a weapon with double perks. It should be any weapon drop has double perks. I like however that data can drop from expunge chests that then allow you to focus an umbral, also the keys can drop during expunge run so would be nice to be able to hold 10 keys as after getting 5 keys and starting expunge runs and having keys dropping that can’t pick up and for me haven’t had them go to postmaster. Can they go to postmaster or nah?

2 RespostasIt wouldn't be as tedious if we could farm the seasonal material in any activity. That said it would be nice if they toned down the cost of tier 3's and maybe 2's. It's getting tedious and when it gets tedious you lose people. There's only so much something new carries an activity.
-
Agreed, it’s a bit much. The engrams are weighted to trash rolls too. I wouldn’t mind this slot machine mechanic if it weren’t so expensive....
-
100%. They need to increase the amount of activities that can drop more decrypted data
-
2 RespostasAgree. Plus being forced to no life this game without getting even close to the thing you’re chasing is tedious & boring. I’ve done over 30+ nightfalls and can’t even get Snapshot on the Uzume RR4. I wanted to take it into PvP but I can’t stand doing the same shit over and over especially when it’s a strike I did hundreds of times in Destiny. Just because Omnigal got a different name and the final encounter was tweaked a bit doesn’t make it new. I wish they gave a shit about this game more. 💠

Editado por Puma Kane: 6/21/2021 4:17:47 PMYeah, only to get the grenade launcher or sidearm, most of the time. It's not worth it at all.
-
They just need to give more data on override completions.
-
Love the 50/50 myth. 8 AR/primary launcher engrams. 6 cromas and 2 launchers. Totally 50% chance.
-
25 RespostasBro you get 75 from an expunge that takes 5 mins lmfao. If you’re really that mad maybe Destiny isn’t the game for you?
-
That's not the only issue. If you want to focus Umbrals for armor you're limited to 3 per account per week.
-
2 RespostasYea top row needs to be at cost of umbral. 2nd needs to be 25 or 50, 3rd should be 75 or 100. It’s worse that gauntlet upgrades use same resource. I have to choose between guns and gauntlet and naturally guns are winning so gauntlet is sucking. Right now I pretty much get 1 umbral for 75 decrypted data which means I never have extra for upgrading gauntlet.
-
Finish the splicer gauntlet and then you’ll have so much surplus data. This really isn’t an issue.
-
Should be 25 DT per focus.
-
They definitely need to figure out how to balance the focusing currency with the number of engrams you get. Would be nice to do more higher tier focusing, but the ROI just isn't there for me. I guess that's the tradeoff though. Each override run nets you 75 data, which can Tier 1 focus 3 engrams or 1 at Tier 2. Too bad that the T2 focusing doesn't drop the double perks. It would be nice to get decrypted data from more activities though. I can only stomach playing Override/Expunge for so long.

14 Respostasthey need to make it cost more 😐 If you on the forums posting about it you got too much time on your hands obviously
-
2 Respostasoh my god please stop -blam!-ing whining. It averages to a weapon you want every 2 runs, that is some of the fastest farming we've ever had in destiny. I remember destiny 1, when there was maybe a 20% chance to get a skeleton key at the end of a playlist strike. Then you had to play the strike you wanted and insert one skeleton key per run. So an average of 6 strikes for the weapon you want. Please, shut, up.

In defense of the umbral focusing, it at least seems to be giving better armour than for last season with battlegrounds. ive only focused a few armour pieces so far and theyve all been pretty good. Last season i focused at least 20 armour pieces for battlegrounds and they were all terrible, so there seems to be an improvement in what i'm getting out of it.
-
I’ve ONLY focused umbrals since whenever I could in week 1 or 2. Since then I have not kept a SINGLE roll of a weapon or armor piece. And you know how many umbrals can drop especially in override.
-
I havent even bothered yet. Im still upgrading the glove thingy!
-
1 Responderim sorry. i just dismantle them.

I definitely agree to having more sources. Having to run the seasonal activity over and over is just annoying and boring, not to mention that it doesn't matter how good your team is, you're still gonna take a long ass time to clear it for just 75 decrypted data and maybe if you're lucky enough 150 (counting the loot goblin). I've barely bothered with the seasonal activity cus its boring as hell.
