Content locked behind a grind. What the hell is wrong with this community?
Do people that play this game not have lives? This is insane? We have to grind for weeks to be able to play the Vault of Glass raid? What is with this insanity?
If a game needs to have RNG and froced Repetition to play the best part of the game, that is downright pathetic.
They need to have a raid option on easy mode at the softcap difficulty of 1260 so people dont have to stop enjoying their lives to play it with their friends. This is downright sad.

i've been thinking and thinking trying to come up with a game that allows you to jump into end game content without leveling up first. maybe you could list some cause i would really like to try them out.

As the other comments have said, Raids are end game content. I personally haven’t played them in D2, but it isn’t required to reach pinnacle power like it did back in D1.

You are on the forums complaining about a grind for raids when it’s pretty clear you don’t have a history of doing raids. This raid is only 1300. The grind is minimal to reach that light level. You have zero excuses. If you and your friends want to do end game content then it is on you guys to put in a little work. There are plenty of people that work and have a family that have zero issues with reaching minimal light requirements. TBH light level is the least of your issues with completing a raid. Since you barely play D2 and have done 0 raids in D2 your load outs would be utter trash for any end game content. It is clear Destiny isn’t for you. Bungie doesn’t cater to entitled people.

5 RespostasI came back to this game 2 weeks before this season after not playing since before Beyond Light. I was 1100 light when I came back and I completed the raid in the first 48 hours. Oh, I have a job too.

10 RespostasUh you must be new? Raid is end game ….also Bungie put the level down to 1300, most people can go in and 1300 is very achievable.

3 RespostasIt's a raid, raids have always been requiring players to be locked and loaded because they are endgame content, this is absolutely nothing new.

Last Wish and Garden of Salvation are 1100. Deep Stone Crypt tops out at 1250, I believe. Unfortunately, Vault of Glass is the only raid currently available for New Light players, and since it's the most recent addition, it has the highest power level. That's just how end-game activities work. By the time Witch Queen is released it'll be below the soft cap, but until then your only choice is to grind.

You don’t even need to be a high level for any of the raids.

Maybe you are too casual to play this stuff day one and just need to wait longer until you can get enough time in? That's how this game works, start off weak, gain strength, then stuff is easier. If you're trying to do endgame fast, probably the wrong game for you

It isn’t even that long or hard to reach 1300. Even so, raids are end game, it’s not something that should be free to people who don’t invest time. Just play a dungeon.

I have done vog with a 1270 teammate and he had no issue beside gatekeeper. Where he got 1 shot by the overload so we put him on ad clear on venus and essentially 5manned it. He was relic holder for atheon and still got a 2phase clear. So whats stopping someone from doing it at 1260. You can raid report me if you want, its the second to last run i completed.
