Clan vs discord
Good Morning, Afternoon or evening my dude!
As I play a ton Destiny 2 more than any sane person should... (just got 4k hours).
I play a TON of PvE, and I have a clan that's 40 strong, but my discord is 28 ish?
I am really trying to grow the clan, but also my discord so I can always have people talking and start building a strong fun community.
I also want to create a PvP clan, but requirement would be 1.3+ KD. I already have a leader for the clan his KD is 2.03 currently. I would be just trying to maintain the community side of the clan.
I'm really looking to make Destiny 2 a strong fun community and a place where people/clan mates are active and make things fun.
Do you think Clans are pointless?
Should I focus on the community side rather then a clan?
Would you be interested?
Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated!

1 ResponderEditado por a Chicken Nugget (Adept): 6/1/2021 2:34:27 AMFrom what I have experienced, discord is a way better way to communicate than the destiny 2 app. It’s a bit complicated with the bots and commands, but it’s better organized and still nice. I do think that community is important. The clan that I am currently in is pretty big, but they don’t force you to be in a clan to be in the discord, which I think is good. You can have people not in the clan be in the discord to hang out and play with, but you don’t have to force them to join. Usually if they enjoy hanging out and playing with you, they join the clan eventually. And if you make a second clan, don’t make a separate discord, it is better to be in one huge discord and have a community text chat for everyone and separate text chats for the different clans

2 RespostasAs a person that has come from.playinh in very large communities this is what I've learned... discord is a great tool to use. Keeps being able to communicate easy. But I feel too much pressure is put on being active in the discord.. i personally am a lurker in chats of all kind. Dont have a ton to say most times but do enjoy reading and occasionally getting involved in the banter or conversation happening. Most time tho I'd rather just chat in game as we bullshit with whatever... that's where most bug clans I feel fail as they for whatever reason put requirement of discord activity..
