Nope, it was good. Otherwise it would’ve been way too easy, just like d1.

Not every raid has to be a checklist of convoluted mechanics, sometimes the pleasure comes from the ride and originality of it. VoG was great as it was and was never called an easy raid until Bungie turned raids into a Crazy Machines kind of thing.

It's a nice change of pace to have a raid that punishes you for not specifically paying attention to it, which is a lot compared to DSC which holds your hand throughout the entire raid

Except if they had not changed all the D1 vets would have an enormous advamtage over everyone else.
-
The changes should be for challenge mode only. There was no need to change the normal mode raid.
-
As I told you before. D1 vets would have speeded through the normal.
-
So? People can watch the 100s of refresher videos about cog that went up a month before. Most of the Vets sped through normal as it was.
-
Either way having completed it myself in my first run........it's not that hard. Like all things in life. The tasks simple. People make it difficult.
-
And whats wrong with that? Not every raid needs to have convoluted mechanics

Yea I have to say I like some of the little mechanics but even my brain was fried trying to do the oracles we stopped at Templar when we heard and saw ordered oracles and after slapping a harpy with the relic and it only doing an 8th off a red bar we left immediately wasn't worth the rewards especially when you get rolls as bad as the few of use who got weapons got I was kinda excited for the old mechanics of the vault but then they fixed what wasn't broken and killed the game for everyone for the day
