So me some of my clan mates, run the raid every monday before reset. We always run the raid mostly every week without fail, but the Exotic doesn't seem to drop at all. Me and another of my clan mate both have like 38 completions, no rocket yet. At this point in time, this is the most amount of raids completed that have an exotic drop in which I have yet to get. 1K Voices took like 24 times, Anarchy took like 7 times, Tarrabah took 3 times, and Eyes of Tomorrow still ongoing for now 38 completions. Also always doing the Challenge when its on the final encounter to hopefully increase the chances.
TLDR: You didn't fix the drop rate of Eyes of Tomorrow, at 38 completions (3/week each character), still nothing. Bungie, y'all a bunch of liars.
-
I got it my first run. It's awesome in gambit. Check out my hunter.
-
1 ResponderIt only drops from your first run on each character. Witch if you do the raid on all 3 characters you only have 3 chances that week. Since the raid went live as of the time I’m writing this you will only have had 69 total chances to get eyes. And since it’s been bugged for most of that your having bad RNG.
-
It’s odd how so many people don’t understand how randomness works.
-
1 ResponderAgreed, I have 98 clears and have been doing my 3 looted runs religiously since the raid came out to no avail. I don’t believe anything was fixed or made retroactive at all.
-
1 ResponderBungie broke our accounts and didn't fix anything. 0-66 on lootable clears after tonight. Absolute bullshit. Bungie needs to admit it and actually fix it. I only need EoT for the seal. Finished all other triumphs months ago. -blam!- Bungie and their so called fix/drop protection. It's a myth.

1 ResponderEditado por Awsomonium: 4/22/2021 12:18:28 AMApparently the fix was Retroactive as well. Info was in this article: https://www.bungie.net/en/Explore/Detail/News/50196 I know for a fact that it still drops though. My mate who'd only done it twice (and only started doing the raid a couple of weeks ago) got it on his second run (that would piss me off if I hadn't got it one my first run when it first came out. Sorry for that flex by the way). With 38 completions, I'm assuming the cumulative chance must be only 1% per completion. Otherwise it would be above 50% weeks ago, making it INCREDIBLY unlikely that you wouldn't have it yet. So assuming you get you it's 1% and you're on 38% chance, plus the base chance (no idea of the actual chance, but lets be generous and say 5% to 10%) would be 43% to 48%. It's not impossible, in fact, technically speaking, it's likely that none of you would have gotten it yet since the individual chances don't interact with the rest of your fireteam. HOWEVER, on a holistic statistical basis, it could still technically be an outlier. I'd have to see the in-house data sets to know for sure and we're unable to see that and not likely to be shown it either. Currently, I'd say your just unlucky. Once you get above 50% and have 3 or more runs without the drop, THEN we might have a statistically relevant problem.

Honestly I don’t care for eyes anymore what I really want is the descendant title. And having rng to get the title really hurts. I feel if you sherpa a whole bunch of people and help at least allow me to get it be default. Like I don’t want the exotic just the title.
-
1 ResponderIv gotten it more than once. Also been with several others when it’s dropped. Seems way easier than past raid exotics. If you pull a check point and make sure you get your three drops a week you have done all you can. Exclusive raid exotics is some of the only content worth grinding by the end of the season. Some times you get lucky other times not. I ran SOtP over 80 times with one of my clan mates before he got anarchy. Play more complain less.

5 RespostasTLDR: RNG. You either get it or you don't get it each run. Remember it increases but it's still a chance. Thing is, you are doing it and you will get it eventually... However some people can be a tad... Well entitled. They have X runs and think they "deserve" it to drop. Nobody "deserves" it. You either get it or you don't each run. You may be unlucky with this one. It happens.
-
Working as intended. Think about it, if you look back on how players never got Ghorn, was it a bug, or was there something else going on? Some things I will say end up actually having a bug but it's funny is how the majority of the time it's with loot that is the most saught out for. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that the weapon Bungie said that got the "unintentional nerf"?

16 RespostasEditado por GivenToFly: 4/20/2021 11:22:13 AMI've looted that stupid chest 69 times and still nothing. *23 weeks, 3 toons.

It's only a 2% increase on your first character. So each week after your first completion you get 2% increase for your two other characters if you have them. So week one your first completion had a 5% chance. After that completion your next 2 characters for that week had a 7% chance. After reset your first character has a 7% chance instead of 5%. If it doesnt drop then your chance goes up 2% to 9% for your 2 other characters for that week. The bug they fixed was that the 2% wasn't passing along to your other characters. So each character had it's own counter. So take the number of weeks you have completed it and times that by 2, then add 5 which will tell you what your chances are. If you have 20 weeks, then your chances or 45%.

I am 0-66 looted runs with 91 completions with no eyes. No one in my fire team has had it drop since the supposed fix.
-
1 ResponderAhhhh I feel bad for anyone who doesn't have it yet. Not because it's a good weapon. It's underpowered and disappointing. If you want to get it for collection purposes I grieve for you. But if you think it's hot stuff you're going to be disappointed.
-
Did they even ever say what the increase to the drop rate was?
-
69 lootable clears...what’s this eyes of tomorrow you speak of?
-
1 ResponderDrop rate is comically low. Longest it took me to get Raid exotic was 1k and it was 12 chest. I did DSC 25 times before I got my Eyes.
-
6 RespostasRaid exotic quests such as divinity are way better than random drops. Got eyes on my second run of DSC, and while it was cool, I felt bad for the people that have run it 100 times. You should be able to acquire raid exotics through skill not RNG
-
Agreed, I am on my 90th clear of the raid and I've done every single weekly clear since release. Since the "patch" was released that claimed to have backlogging, I should've had a 50% chance of getting it for every run after that and I've done more than enough to get it. It's a meme between my friends that when I hit 100 clears without Eyes the 15th wish is going to be released. I'm just in pain due to being the only person in my clan to not have the gun and I'm happy to hear I'm not the only one with this problem. Hopefully bungie addresses it soon because I'm completely out of hope.

2 RespostasI'm sure they'll have excuse number 2 out in a few weeks. They can really keep this community going off of lies, I can't believe some people still think they're being honest after the number of times they've been caught lying. I mean take your situation, if you were at 29 completions before the "fix" and then ran it 3 times per week for the last 3 weeks and the odds were a flat 1% per attempt your odds of getting it are 97.3%! That's being conservative compared to how the Anarchy change worked. In that situation you'd have a 99.8% chance . Anyways, look at how many other people are saying they have even more completions than you. There's an immense probability that either people or lying, or Bungie is. The odds of this many people having bad luck on this level are very slim. (anything is possible, but the odds are heavily against this just being bad luck)

Stop financially supporting a company that doesn't respect your time or you as a player.

Only 38? That's laughable!! Got my first one on my 64th clear!! 65th clear I got number 2!! Keep working at it, it'll eventually drop!!

Mine took me a ton of tries to get it but it eventually dropped. I’m just happy I got it before they patched the frostbite glitch. I have yet to complete that first part legit

They don’t do anything about bit just make an advertisement that they did something and everyone is fooled

Took me 103 riven kills for 1k. You’ll get it eventually.
