And you’re not listening to the answer. You’re trying to treat something as seperate, that isn’t. There are two kinds of nerfs in this game. Nerfs to control power creep when there is no sunsetting. Then nerfs to tune the sandbox in pvp. The addition of sunsetting eliminated the need for the first brand of nerf. But does nothing about the second. All the nerfs during the period when sunsetting was active were about pvp sandbox tuning. But now that sunsetting is gone, nerfs that are about controlling power creep are coming back. If sunsetting were still active. 1. The nerfs to stasis and 120 rpm HC range would still be coming. Since they are about tuning pvp. 2. The nerf to Lament would still be coming. Since exotics were exempted from sunsetting. 3. There would have been no nerf to Falling Guillotine as it would have simply sunset and no longer been end-game viable. That’s what you keep missing. The fact that all of this is connected because all parts of the game share a common sandbox.

  • You mean "your answer" Explaining the obvious isn't helping you any. We all literally know there are 2 types of nerfs in this game and you relying on power creep in a game as if it's an "issue" knowing 90% of the player base knows power creep is not an issue is just idiotic.

  • Like I said. Just showing you don’t understand how the game works. Because we would be having this discussion if you did. Since my initial statement would have been common sense. Later. I’m done wasting my time trying to reason with you. Believe what you want. But the issue of sunsetting isn’t done, and there are no magic bullets out there for Bungie to find. It’s going to have to be revisited and the debate will be even uglier next time since Bungie keeps caving to the pressure.
