I have been a part of a lot of toxic communities in the past, RWBY, Halo, Overwatch, R6 Siege, etc..., and I have seen some shit. But this communities ability to turn on one another is honestly baffling. I have never seen infighting to this level. The Hardcores blaming the Casuals, the Casuals blaming the Hardcores, the Middle Men blaming both sides, all three jumping on Streamers and Content Creators, and of course everyone just eating away at Bungie. Its feels like we are in this huge multifaceted war that's going to end up in nuclear winter. Can we all just please take a moment and breathe? Can we all just stop and try to actually be productive as a community instead of throwing the nearest suspect under a bus?
Edit: I'm not saying Bungie isn't at fault. In a previous post I explained my....lets go with displeasure at Destiny feeling directionless and certain aspects of the game feeling forgotten. I'm well aware that this franchise has been mismanaged (which I think is in large part due to a lack of competition). The point of this post is to ask for people to stop blaming one another and to instead provide constructive pointed criticism or, perhaps even better, actually take action.
Edit: For those saying 'if you think this is toxic then obviously haven't seen (insert other game)' then you are missing the point. This isn't a dick waving contest over who's worse or which community is more toxic. The point is to show that we are literally eating ourselves alive, amongst various other things.
Edit: Let me make this VERY CLEAR. I am not saying Bungie isnt responsible. Hell I'm not even saying all the groups mentioned above are completely innocent. What I AM saying is that instead of trying to make heads roll we as a community should put that anger to good use. Pointed researched criticism, boycotts, refusing to buy from eververse or even interact with it, things of this nature. Instead of calling for blood and getting nowhere, DO SOMETHING.

Could it be because so much of the game is about players killing other players, back shooting invasion and mote thieves? Just saying.
