[Edit] I am referring to Master levels of difficulty setting, not basic level content with a few champions. Endgame content. Master Lost Sectors and Nightfalls.

1 ResponderEditado por Xx RogueMerc xX: 12/10/2020 5:07:39 AMThe Master difficulty ones are annoying solo but once you figure out a working combination they aren’t too bad. After beating a few Master lost sectors solo I realized you just have to take it slow and change up your play style. I had good luck with drops and was able to get the new exotic helmets and gauntlets to drop within a few runs on Legend on all three classes. Necrotic grips and Thorn are an entertaining combo 🤣

That's the whole point its not supposed to be easy

13 RespostasHonestly champions suck. They aren’t hard to deal with they are just there to slow the player and make them run weapons they don’t want too. Not even sure why they were added.

6 RespostasI'm power level 267, went into the 280 for giggles as I've so far only done the 250s. First overload captain I found I stunned with my solar nade, went to town with my Lament like I do in the 250s and when he was down to about 10% health and still stunned he started regenning health as I was still hitting him with light strikes. By the time he actually broke out of the stun he was back to full health and OHK'd me. lol Yeah, I'll wait until I'm closer to 280.
-
4 RespostasThey also regenerate health when there ability isnt up.
-
Phase out the Chumps. It was a TERRIBLE game mechanic idea from start to finish.
-
2 RespostasAlso anti barrier shouldn’t attack guardian when start up anti barrier shield
-
3 RespostasThe problem is not that they just Regen health too quickly. They are just inconsistent. I’m referring to overload champions specifically. The stun mechanics are too inconsistent. It seems like lag/latency may potentially also impact this as well. Whether it’s stun grenades or overload weapons like scouts, auto rifles, and even Divinity. Some times they work and other times they don’t. They may get stunned but immediately teleport or regen health while they are stunned. The “proper” cool down that Bungie intended doesn’t always work - which creates a high degree of inconsistency. I find this to also be a major problem in master level content. It’s more manageable when you have a fireteam but going in solo to lost sectors, it’s some times unmanageable.

Here’s a tip 1. Pre fire the enemy (just like every other season 2. Use concusive damper (amour mod) 3. Be aware you are under leveled so you can’t move around as much 4. Grind for more light
-
4 RespostasIt seems like like your highest character is pretty under leveled for master lost sectors.
-
That’s why I’m going to wait till I’m closer to 1280 before I attempt the master lost sectors
-
12 RespostasI had this issue with the master lost sector today perdition. The overload champion would gain his health back and my xeno couldn't kill the champion by the time he regained health. My light is 1264. Swords arent too great in the perdition master lost sector. But there are others that are much easier.
-
2 RespostasSo I just got back to playing. Have no clue on how to use master work and any of those mods. Pretty much stuck in the mud. I’m laughing out loud but I’m actually dying inside.

1 ResponderSometimes i stun them i hear the sound but they're not stunned

6 RespostasEditado por Fish: 12/7/2020 4:58:03 AMFor some reason the stasis grenades have weird interactions with champions. The only solution is to switch out your load out a bit if champs are regening when they shouldn't be. Ignore what peope here are saying. There is a bug with their mechanics that need adressing.
-
Champions are fine aside from overload inconsistency
-
I think champions are in a perfect place now aside from overload champions not getting disrupted correctly on master (duskfield not instantly disrupting).
-
Nah the real issue here is that the only two overload champions in the game are teleporters.

2 RespostasEditado por An Error: 12/7/2020 9:55:52 PMI’m sure happy you can have the Vow float both anti barrier and unstoppable. One person can rock both of the champion mods. Even all three if the activity has all three types. Really helps when your teammates have the mods on, but simply don’t do their job Which is all the time. Also, Bungie, don’t let people match into something if they don’t have respective anti champion mods on, and don’t let them unequip the mod or weapon that gives them that ability. People marching into a strike without any anti champion mods on is dumb. If I do low level nightfalls, I’m usually the only person who brought mods. Which has me leaving if my teammates can’t do the one thing they have to do
-
3 RespostasAfter they're stunned you need to finish them fairly quickly xenophage, swords like guillotine and lament make short work of any champion. Maybe you need to be faster.
-
-
17 RespostasUse lament. You’re welcome
-
21 RespostasDuskfield grenade with lament wrecks all champs in master ls. Throw the grenade, wait a sec for it to take effect and lament them.
-
1 ResponderSide note- if it did or did not work for you, please indicate what Platform your attempting this on. I have a theory that most of the people saying this or that works for them are on PC - whereas the rest of us on Console (I'm on Xbox) it's just inconsistent broken trash.

4 Respostas
[Edit] I am referring to Master levels of difficulty setting, not basic level content with a few champions. Endgame content. Master Lost Sectors and Nightfalls.
I’m a 1273 and overloads are a pita at 1280 with anything but a sword or xeno. I tried anarchy at 1280 and repeatedly stunned the overloads and they legit get their health back before anarchy can kill them. This is not the case in the 1250. The problem I have with using sword in 1280s is when you have double barriers like at the end of the perdition lost sector being able to do enough damage and take them out quickly is pretty tough. I guess I’ll see how I feel when I’m 1280, I’d prefer to have some distance between myself and a overload or barrier just because the concussion from their weapons can one shot you and I’ve been killed assuming my grenade would stun them before they could get a shot off and I’ve been wrong lol
