Insta freezing grenades and ranged melees is absolutely bonkers in PVP
It's breaking all aspects of crucible. And punishing ppl who are F2P.
It's creating insanely frustrating moments. Even seen ppl who freezes a super midair just to tebag, emoji and then kill the poor guy.

133 RespostasDude, stasis punishes bad gameplay. Simple as that. It's literally BUILT to punish it. Improve your positioning, raise your awareness, and improve your gunplay and escapes and chases. It's not as evil as everyone says, and everyone upset over it so far have been shotgun apes, sniper campers, or folks that are used to being able to just stand there and fire instead of staying on the move and actually strategizing. Play smart and you'll see stasis is actually really balanced.

5 RespostasIf pvp in this game was worth a damn Dr. Disrespect would play it. As it stands I don't think he has ever even acknowledged this games existence. You could take the top 3 crucible pc players in this game and have them go up against him in just about any other shooter and he would destroy all 3 of them. And he is only average in the world of real shooters. This games pvp is very very bad in just about every way possible and stasis just made it worse, only worse, not better at all, just plain and simply worse.

If they normalized the breakout to one specific action (Rapidly tap button ~or~ Hold button) it would remove much of the frustration as that action could be practiced and with time breakouts could get easier. Having to read a prompt to know what action you have to do in order to free yourself is just bad. That's the only thing I would change.

6 RespostasHow stasis shipped like this is beyond me. It literally outclasses every other single subclass in the game. You can not beat stasis when you're frozen!!! You cant move! There isnt any other grenade or melee that instantly stops you. Blinding yes. Stunned or suppressed yes. YOU CANNOT MOVE FOR MULTIPLE SECONDS. HOW DID YOU SHIP THIS BUNGIE?!!

Freeze time is too long. Should be able to break out of stasis faster, but other than that its fine

Being frozen and loose all your health trying to get game to respond to release you is crap. Do stupid I hate this so far . Considering giving up on game bungie does nothing to help this game no more. Only interested in new game they are design. I won’t be buying it if this is how you support a game

11 RespostasIts pretty normal for things to be op in crucible when they are added into the game. It'll get tone down at some point. In d1, vex mythoclast and the hammer of sol subclass were op af when they were newly released. In d2 all the new subclasses were op ( except chaos reach ) in the crucible and not to mention prometheus lens. Have fun and just enjoy it. Chill out... literally

Insta freezing is more than annoying. But I still appreciate having a bit fresh air in the pvp sandbox. I played voidwalker a lot before, mainly to shut down spectral blades and you see them very rarely in 6v6 compared to before. That's an aspect I like a lot right now.

3 RespostasHave to disagree with all this hate on Stasis in Crucible. It's fun and actually quite humorous at times. Look at it this way, you're going to get killed by SOMETHING in Crucible. Does it really make a difference whether it's a sniper shot, sliding shottie, or being frozen? At least if you're frozen there is a small but still greater than zero chance of getting out. If you're sniped in the head, you're just dead. I missed Felwinter's Lie in Destiny 2 (have in Destiny though) and it looks like I'll never have a chance at it since there's no announcement it'll ever be brought back. Now, I could start threads to "remove Felwinter's" but that would be pointless. It's better to use the loot I do have and adjust. I really hope Stasis is here to stay. We'll adjust. The meta is always changing.

Love it in gambit. Those melee freezes help me against invaders more than the supers. It makes gambit not so annoying.
