A majority of this new "expansion" (which is actually just gutting 80 percent of what the game previously was) is riding your sparrow to the other side of Europa for a 1 minute firefight just to warp back to exo stranger or variks and do it again 20 times over. Its absolutely abysmal that they feel the need to timegate the rest of the content event though there is maybe only 5 hours (about 1 hour of actual gameplay) to beat the story. This is coming from a person who has beat the story on all 3 of their characters and unlocking every stasis ability and doing the exotic quest that was available so far. Upvote this and lets see if Bungie will actually respond to this criticism. I have seen a lot of poor AAA company practices, and while this isnt as bad as locking exclusive equipment through purchasable lootboxes, it is certainly still unforgivable and a slap in the face of all consumers.
Edit: timegating the rest of the content through weekly updates is not good practice. I can understand maybe timegating the raid by a week or 2 so people can get up to the light power needed. However, the sabotage quests for variks, the rest of the stasis abilities for the dark subclass, the other exotic quests that are supposed to be released along with this expansion have no reason to be locked behind weekly updates.
I wont speak for everyone, but I was certainly upset to find out how little content there was on the release of this expansion for the money we have to shell out to play it.

The "new season" starts this weekly reset so there'll be more to "do". I agree with you on the timegating but I guess that's just to stop you doing everything there is to offer in 1 week.

I'm pretty pissed Variks isn't offering new guns this week I'm also pissed there isn't an obtainable kinetic auto rifle in the game that I can pair with the new fusion

Nothing will change unfortunately, bungie have realised they still get sales by pushing out mediocre content/gameplay and even after taking some away... people will still buy it regardless, it's a money maker if anything. Don't mean it's good though...

The only people who argue against this post are people who are happy with how Bungie treats them. Those people must not only be aware that they are being stepped on and treated like shit, but actually defends Bungie for treating them like shit. I don't know how you can have such little self-worth.

11 RespostasThis is what happens when you speed through it. I can't wait to replay the story on my other two characters. There's so many little details, so many beautiful areas. Europa is a feast for the eyes, and the story is extremely intriguing. But I don't expect that to be understood by someone that just sees it as a challenge to their speedrunning abilities. It can't be understood by anyone that focuses more on the mechanics than the flavor. You should approach this like a good meal: even if the presentation is rough, as long as it tastes good you leave happy. The presentation on this meal was very rough, but I'm definitely happy with how it turned out.

4 RespostasYou must be relatively new to the franchise? Once this game went F2P the focus shifted from content development to cosmetic development. If you paid for the deluxe edition then that’s your issue. Many veteran players knew BL was simply going to be a cash grab so are only playing it right now thanks to Gamepass. No Season Pass purchase, nothing. That’s how you invoke change. Speak with your wallet next time.

The main symptom of hypernatremia is excessive thirst. Other symptoms are lethargy and possibly confusion. Advanced cases may also cause muscle twitching or spasms. With severe elevations of sodium, seizures and coma may occur.
