Like The Dark Knight the story explores what is the nature of Good vs Evil. Are they implacable entities? Or are they the outcomes of choices we make, and unexamined motivation we have? That Evil isn’t “out there” in someone or something else. Evil—or the potential for it—-is “in here”....and the minute you forget that. The minute you start to believe that your ends justify your means...you become dangerous. To yourself and others. ”None of the great Crimes of History were committed by monsters. They were committed by ordinary men and women who were absolutely, positively convinced that they were right.” ——Eckhardt Tolle.

It was a copy paste from the tangled shore storyline. But the new gameplay is fun, as always.

It can't be the same writers as the ones for the lore cards. The way it's written is very different. More... mature, I suppose? Like they respect our intelligence.

Campaigns in destiny have pretty poor writing. The lore entries are good though.

Because the lore and the campaign are a single narrative. And Bungie writes from the expectation that you’re familiar with it. They used to do the same with Halo. There would be two or three novels between games, and the game’s campaign would pick up right where the novel had left off.

Lore is top notch, but actual gameplay is 70% filler, n missions of run through here, kill boss, repeat.
-
That’s basically shooters in a nutshell to be fair. That’s not exactly some special Destiny issue.

True i guess
