I bet they just did that to make it cheap and easy for new players, especially kids, who can’t be bothered to spent actual time to get good weapons and just wanna go ahead and slaughter away with the first blue they get.
Honestly, I just got Luna’s Howl - I know, I’m extremely late for that specific party - and I jumped into Control and just got crushed. Even when I start laying critical hits on someone before he starts shooting, I barely get two shots out before I go down. That’s not balance. That’s dumb. I had a hell of a time getting that weapon in the first place bc everyone is running Suros and stuff.

as someone who mains hand cannons, I can't see this being a valid argument. I've used Luna's, and I can 3 shot anyone within my range even if they are using a 600 rifle. LH/NF cause so much flinch that it can counteract reduced flinch mods. If you're moving around while shooting, and can actually get your crits, then you should be winning a lot of your exchanges. I've taught myself to only go for crits, even when strafing, and it's helped me a lot, even if I miss, I at least get close, and can perk the Mag Howl.

What a DUMB argument to make. So you’re saying I should counter an AR by strafing which only works if the other person sucks at PvP and can’t strafe or aim. When he’s firing his subsistence/swashbuckler Gnawing Hunger at you, he will definitely damage you more because he is constantly firing. Also, you admit that it’s harder to get a kill with LH. Otherwise your whole strafing bs would be nonsense. I hate these bs answers by the way ... it’s so obvious, you can look up the TTK for both. So what’s your story? You’re such a great player? Fcuking ridiculous....

Interesting, just because you lack the skills you automatically assume there are no counter methods. So explain to me this....if it's not possible, how is it I can do it and still win exchanges with weapons that are NOT 600 rpm autos? It's not the weapons, it's the USER. If you're such a cry baby and lack the patience and fortitude to learn from your mistakes, take your lickings, and make a conscience effort to actually improve upon your game like the rest of us, then go find a game for pansies....I hear Last of Us 2 is on sale.
