Big question, what would you change from the subclasses, because they synergize fairly well already.

  • You couldn’t do Phoenix dive instead of heat rises due to how the nodes work, seeing as they would still be limited most likely. Anyhow, I respect the diversity of the builds, but half of them are the same as normal builds, as well as it wouldn’t synergize well, BUT like I said, I respect it.

  • I used to love the perk in d1 where if you got a melee kill it turned you invisible along side that if you had good strength it recharged faster on top of hat if you paired it with kepris sting you could turn invisible by crouching that is the type of costimization I miss

  • For example? I’m really wondering because if you could mix subclasses they would tend to have really random mixes and with low synergy. In my opinion it would bring about more nerfs than we’ve seen already. Unironically, most people ran the same subclass builds in destiny, invis on bladedancer, bubble with bastion and orb generation, self res warlock, etc, so I believe that’s the main reason why they made the nodes instead of customization options.

I have an example. Take it Seriously. Well of Radiance as Super. Top Tree Ability: Icarus Dash Right Ability: Charging Grenade heals you and Allies. Bottom Tree Ability:Celestial Fire. Ranged Melee. Left Ability: thrust Daybreak sword into ground. Well of Radiance. A mix of team Medic, with some close-mid range offense, and the Recoverablity of Icarius Dash.

However, I can wish for diverse Builds, but I don't beleive Bungie would give us the freedom There are always people who do as you say, follow the crowd, some people tho would wanna combine nova warp, with devour and let's say, entropic pull, and Charging on Grenade for Devour not HHSN. I don't want to go to deep, but most people will follow the crowd, but I know I'm not the only one who'd want to see more Diverse or Exotic Builds due to player Choice. Not Bungie Weapon Scripts.

  • I might be misspeaking but having a pool of perks to choose from instead of preselected ones would be better for playing how you want to play. Obviously the 3 elements wouldn't be mixed, just within one another. D1 had the better subclass trees imo.
