I'm just saying if I go into PvP there is 1 thing in common. I see autos. Autos everywhere and its just isn't fun, if someone can kill me because they can hold the trigger better than me that just isn't fun and I don't understand how people can call that fun at least during the hand cannon meta it took skill and I would understand if someone could kill me but if little old Jimmy can go around a corner and just hold the trigger it just dumb PvP should have a skill gap but it just doesn't right now.

Gnawing hunger certainly needs a tweak, however overused =/= overpowered

7 RespostasYeah no, hand cannons don't take more skill than auto rifles. Your argument is that autos don't take skill because you can hold down the trigger? How is tapping the trigger much more skillful? Auto rifles require you to keep your aim on a target at all times, or else you'll miss, while hand cannons only require you to aim at a target every half a second or so, so your aim can be off some of the time. Also, auto rifles require you to position yourself and plan your engagements in a way so you won't be peak fired, because auto rifles lose peak fights every single time. A hand cannon can peak out and hit 70 damage instantly and then return to cover. If an auto rifle hits 1-2 shot before returning to cover that's only 26-52 damage from an adaptive, which is the most competitive archetype right now. On top of both of these reasons, someone facing an auto rifle doesn't have to worry about in-air combat since auto rifles are really innacurate in the air, unlike hand cannons. This doesn't even mention the fact that 450 rpm and 360 rpm auto rifles are not competitive at all right now. Adaptives are the only really good archetype right now, with some argument for rapid fires.

4 RespostasSomeone’s mad that their spam cannon isn’t the best thing in the game anymore.

Inb4 someone saying "git gud" Anyways, I see what you're saying.

3 RespostasHand cannons don't take skill, sorry. Especially 150s and 180s. So much aim assist, you can practically feel bungie holding your hand as you play.

1 ResponderEditado por Trash Boat: 7/4/2020 11:56:09 AMHave you crybabies even played the game lately? I’ve used a couple 150 HCs and they’re just as competitive as Autos. Crimson is nuts. The Last Word is EASILY the best primary in crucible right now. That shit is stupid easy since the hip fire buff. High Impact PRs two burst. Sidearms melt. SMGs aren’t terrible, but sidearms fill their role better. Like, Jesus. Do you just not have thumbs or something? Every primary is well represented in crucible right now except Scout Rifles, but I feel that’s more of a map design issue. Same with Bows, but I find plenty of success with a bow, personally.

1 ResponderBut I love autos. Please let me have this.

1 ResponderBungie already said adaptives are getting nerfed.

Nyet, rifle is fine.

Probably the most balanced primary meta we've ever had in the crucible to date, so many options to use that can compete. Autos, high impact pulses, hand cannons, sidearms and a bunch of exotics are in the meta, don't go calling for nerfs! Instead ask for hand cannon tweaks 140s,110s,180s, scout 180,200 and smg 600,900 buffs for even more options. If any crucible nerf is needed it's for special ammo and sword and emote peaking.. Bout it.

6 RespostasNope AR’s are fine! Two years of HC’s and shotties!

Nah, there are more competitive class of weapons now. High impact pulse, autos and hand cannons with all having similar TTK. Don’t get caught out in the open all the time and countering autos are quite easy. I swap between all three and never get angry because I was killed by a weapon I’m not using. I also laugh so hard at people who immediately switch to a weapon archetype they were just killed by, immediately thinking this will put them on a level of their rival and still get owned. Learn movement.

3 RespostasMaybe give them damage falloff, higher rpm autos higher recoil and reduced mag capacity, lower rpm autos higher accuracy. Change up how they work a little without a complete nerf. Maybe buff Sweet Business's damage.
-
12 RespostasPoor burst damage, so playing to cover kills them. Bad mobility, so they're pretty predictable. Seems like your playstyle needs a change.
-
People with hand cannons would kill other people bc they can repeatedly press the trigger better. It's kinda the same thing. The only difference now is that you can't use hand cannons the same way that you used to. It's kinda like learning a new weapon, but once you get the hang of strafing and moving differently they still work.
-
They don't kill you because they hold the trigger better than you! They have better aim! Stupidest thing I've seen in a long time!

They aren’t over powered at all. You need sustained headshots to get a low TTK.

The easiest weapon shouldn’t be the most powerful. Revoker and 600 rpms need nerfs
-
People like using auto's, let them have their season. Be thankful you still have many options.

quite a time to be alive

4 RespostasEditado por Swiftlock: 7/4/2020 2:21:50 AMNerf autos and we go back to nothing but Dire Promise/Spare Rations all over the place. No nerfs. Nerfs don't make the game more fun or interesting.
-
I don’t see a problem with it, we had a full year of nothing but hand cannons.
-
They don’t need a nerf. Bungie needs to just buff other weapon types to make them more competitive.
-
I don't really think autos are broken, but they are very viable. Autos are in a comfortable spot that other weapons should be in. So with that being said: I don't think autos should receive a nerf. Now when it comes to handcannons, I think Bungie needs to consider two different things: 1. Get rid of bloom... seriously. It's a bad mechanic for the game. To my understanding, bloom exists to limit the range of a handcannon so that it can't contest other weapons at long ranges. Now while it makes sense that you would want to limit the ranges of handcannons, going about it this way just doesn't work. Damage drop-off exists for a reason and is more than capable to discourage players using a weapon outside of its optimal ranges. Players also shouldn't ever be at the mercy of an rng system when trying to simply land shots on their target. And the worst part is: Handcannons have to suffer from both damage drop-off and bloom. 2. Ranges may need tweaking. Now in all honesty, I'm not really a handcannon user. I have always like using scout rifles in PvP ever since Destiny 1. Therefore, I can't really say with confidence that handcannons really need more range than they already have. However, I have heard many complaints that there is really no reason to use high impact/low rate of fire handcannons because the range is too limited. I think we can all agree that ranges should increase as the rate of fire lowers. With that being said, recoil should also increase as rate of fire lowers. It would make sense for players to be able to hit enemies at a longer range with high impact handcannons and get fair damage, but it shouldn't be a cake walk. Plus, the higher recoil makes is more difficult to engage enemies at a closer range. (Bungie may also want to consider zoom levels on high impact handcannons) The goal is to not have a weapon that is too good in too many situations. Being too good in too many situations leaves little room for counter-play and makes crucible into a crutch zone (as if it isn't already, right?). Something I think we are all just gonna have to understand though is that Bungie just may not intend to make it a balanced game. I know that in any game metas are going to exist and right now we are currently in an auto rifle one. You may not like it, but you may like the next one. Let's just not act like the handcannon meta was some kind of PvP utopia or something. TL;DR Autos are in a good spot. Remove bloom on handcannons. Increase ranges on higher impact handcannons, but makes sure recoil keeps them in check.
