I understand the community's job is to mostly provide feedback, and 99% of that is negative on the D2 forums, but I wanted to take a second to say I love playing D2. It's a hobby of mine and I'm glad to spend time its world.

Most of the playerbase love Destiny. Sadly this forum is a gathering place for the people that hate it.

Low sodium destiny is a great place on reddit

2 RespostasI like the art and the actual shooting and movement of the game. Doing the story and other activities are fun the first time through, after that the game gets pretty boring and pointless.
-
Aside from making a few friends that I play other games with now, this game negatively affects me.
-
Every day they work on this game and they try to make destiny the game it can be... I just wise like Smith had precognition Also leveling sucks.

2 Respostas
I understand the community's job is to mostly provide feedback, and 99% of that is negative on the D2 forums
People can like something and still provide negative feedback because they want it to improve. The amount of negative feedback shows people who want the game to improve and are disappointed with the continuous bad decisions the devs make. It's understandable why there is so much negative feedback and if Bungie actually listened to the fans instead of the fanboys and whining, biased streamers, the game would be in a better place overall and there would be less negative feedback. If the devs actually listen and do their job well, this negative feedback can be a great tool for improving the game. However, if Luke Smith and the rest of the team just shrug it off, the game will decline further all while the fanboys are rooting them on.

9 RespostasHave fun thanking Bungie when after all the "new loot" you get after sunsetting is literally all just old loot. I don't understand how anyone would be thankful for trash.

1 ResponderEditado por GRAVEL: 6/17/2020 2:54:43 PMI'm happy for you. Really am. I think currently the good is heavily outweighed by the bad. If you start factoring in mediocre... you don't even have a game anymore. Three more years? Of this? I don't find it fun, engaging, rewarding or even a good story. It just a vampire sucking away at your life. I'll say it again, I am happy for you but this destiny is not for me.

11 RespostasThey wouldn't see so much negativity if they fixed most of what's wrong/actually listened to people. Nobody wants sunsetting, yet here they are turning a blind eye to the thousands of posts with legit arguments and putting out a bunch of lies to try to convince people to accept it and that it is a good thing, with sunsetting having no proof of the stuff Bungie even said about sunsetting being true. They have no reason to sunset outside of just wanting to fill more playtime and money out of less work. It isn't the first time they lied in our faces too. Remember the XP throttling? Remember their other things around that time too. They don't respect us. There are nice things about the game, but for me, the music team and the skybox team are the only things keeping me playing this game. Even they seem to be getting lazier. Look at the pyramid on IO, it's nearly untextured on full high-quality texture setting. The music team is also losing their touch IMO. Since I did that one interference mission, it feels like the music is lacking a few instruments to make it sound less bare. But yeh, good job on the map-making team in the new dungeon tho, that was a real Destiny experience. Need more of that in the game, not reused assets. Loved it.

For all its faults, and there are many, I still love the game too. Part of my life for last six years and its been a great constant through work, play and even cancer. Personally looking forward to next three years, good and bad seasons.

It’s a good game although mostly players just keep complaining but still play so it can’t be that bad or else they wouldn’t keep crying on here. Pleased your enjoying the game guardian. 👍

1 ResponderTotally agree. It's fun escapism. Seems there's folks here who've forgotten what fun is. So far I've actually really been enjoying Arrivals even if it's only a week old.

Destiny will always be one of my favorite games

I enjoy the game too

Yep, it’s a good game, it has some problems but other people are so dramatic about it.

I definetly agree with you. I have been having more fun with the game recently. I think wheb it comes to destiny, its a 50 50. The game is among the best for gameplay and combat. The only problems with the game are incentive which there never really is an easy fix for especially for destiny. If bungie can fix this im sure it will stand as one of the greatest games.

As a shooter, destiny has smooth gunplay and fun abilities. Rewards in destiny are meaningless to me, because they're just a punishment over time. I've removed any expectations of the loot system improving. And without a meaningful story of any kind, I can't bring myself to invest more time in d2. I have fun memories with clanmates which will likely never come again.

32 RespostasVery nice, not much of hobby if you only managed 1300 hrs in 6 years in the game. I've only been around since nov 19 and have almost 1000 hrs logged.

I think there are alot of little changes that are greatly appreciated. 1) being able to target rewards with focusing 2) weapons a pretty kewl. 3) season mods can be purchased rather than rng from a chest. 4) having masterwork number be higher as you unlock. I think if they are going to retire weapons and armor there needs to be reasonable paths to obtain and upgrade what you get in a season. They need to look at leveling paths for these updates with a small amount of content.

23 RespostasI love sunsetting I love the removal of the afk grind People just want to be lazy and it shows, you cant have nice things if you dont earn them. Anyone who challenges bungies decisions on this is too short sighted and can just shuffle on out of here....
