Destiny 2 is a Great Game - Thank You.
My wife and I have played for 5+ years together and Destiny 2 has had times I loved and times I loved less. I think Bungie has had great moments and good moments. The game is unique and has created a platform that is a hobby I can enjoy for countless hours with my friends. It has also brought my wife and I closer together.
I see a lot of negative feedback out there. Thank you Bungie for offering this game and your talent to the world. I certainly appreciate it.

Here's a thought for the players who've been here since D2 launched and are complaining now... ...why the heck are you still here? If you didn't have a clear understanding of what this game is and how the developers do things by the end of the first year of D2, you never will. If you cannot make an informed purchase based off a couple of years of play, it's a "you" problem. There isn't going to be any magic moment. The game moves in waves, some high, some low. You will love some content and hate others. That's the flow of the game. And change, for the most part, is very slow to occur. If this is all coming as a surprise to you, I'm sorry, but again that's a "you" issue. Want to talk about things that are wrong? I'm with you, done it plenty myself. I'm a harsh Bungie critic at times, very harsh. That's not what's happening here though. You folks are taking it upon yourselves to shout down anyone who says anything positive. That's wrong, and you shouldn't do that. We each of us have the choice to at any moment discontinue our support of this franchise, or we can continue to enjoy it in whatever manner we see fit. Hopefully we can be adult about those choices, at least, most of us can. You may like or hate the game, I really don't care. I swing back and forth, and it will always be that way with Bungie. I'm a pragmatist, I understand what is. It's petty and small to behave as some have here, but that's the anonymity of the web for you.

21 RespostasDestiny as a franchise is objectively great. Gameplay/Gunplay-second to none. Graphics-Superb Art/Level Design-Superb Sound Design-Superb Music/Soundtrack-Superb Variety of Game Modes-Superb Story-Hit or Miss Raids-Above Average Content-Hit or Miss Value-Superb Subjectively it can be bad. Assuming you do not enjoy the current content. I've seen it have really high moments and I've seen it have lower moments. But at the end of the day, based on the comparables, Destiny is a great game that offers a vast array of enjoyable activities set it a beautiful world that is extremely intuitive to pick up and play. What more do you want?

3 RespostasAnd people like you are why we can't have nice things in destiny. Good job . meanwhile I've supported bungie for 19 years. For what I've seen bungie do for its community in the past (halo franchise) to what they do for us now in destiny ... It's not even close dude. Bungie is NOT bungie anymore. They're something else that I can't be proud of anymore or even recommend to friends to try out. If bungie ever wants to regain my respect and admiration they would have to rehire Joe staten at the least and either fire luke Smith or demote him to annoying dbag coffee guy . give full control to staten regarding the story and lore (he wrote the lore in d1 and then they chopped up his hardwork so badly that he quit bungie) and actually start making "fun" content instead of "fomo grind" content. But sure dude destiny is a great way to waste your time and if you're with friends it feels less wasteful but realistically everything you work for will be taken from you in the form of nerfs, new seasons or sunsetting weapons. I personally don't like grinding I like playing fun content. There's pretty much nothing fun in destiny anymore .

12 RespostasAbout every complaint that comes across from the community forums was a request at some point to which Bungie listened and gave us what we asked for. We asked for bounties just like D1. Bungie gives us bounties out the wazoo. We asked for 6v6 and old D1 maps. Bungie gives us 6v6 and old D1 maps. We asked for Trials to come back. Bungie gives us Trials. We asked for Special economy to return. Bungie gives us the Special meta. We ask for X, Y, and Z weapon or armor piece to be nerfed. Bungie nerfs X, Y, and Z. The moral of the story: be careful what you wish for. There are a lot of players completely -blam!-ed up in the head for the amount of hate and toxicity generated at a company that gives us what we ask for. Some people act like an enraged ex that just can't let go and move on with life.
