I just had a 9 and a half minute load screen to the tower
This setback really screwed up the load in times. Even on my Xbox 1X it still took this long when it used to be a minute and a half. Yikes bungie

I used to pour myself a cup of coffee during these. . . Now I can pour a cup, drink it all, Make another pot, Another cup, Bathroom break, Hit the treadmill.

I’m not gonna say I LIKE these long ass loading times but it’s nice to just sit back for a moment and go to the bathroom, say hi to family real quick, go get water or something like that.

I noticed long load times as well. However it's only on the first time I load in. Going back to the tower after doing an activity doesnt seem to take as long. Also notice that it will happen on each character when I switch characters.

I has the same Yesterday evening, normally it doesn't take that long. I was like after, 5 minutes and some reading om my phone: where was I going again? Is the Nightfall stuck? O, no wait! I was going to the tower!....

Perfect time to get up and stretch (blood clots are dangerous mkay), get some water (stay hydrated bish), or grab a healthy snack.

1 ResponderI have been having much longer load times than normal for everything but especially tower. I along with some friends got SSD hard drives a while back to help out with the load times and they helped until recently and it seems they do us no good at all now.

Then after you land..you're going to get stuck in the loading zone at the stairs when heading to Hawthorne or at the LZ before the Hangar....then you're going to have to Fast Travel back to the Courtyard...only to get stuck in another Loading Screen.....then when that's done...you're going to run to the Post Master and get kicked because Weasel says it's your fault....when everyone knows it's Bungie.

There’s a new emblem in the game for anyone that can load into the tower in under 10 minutes. No one will ever see what it looks like, not even Gladd.

I had a similar flight time yesterday. I shook my head looking at the screen thinking about what went wrong in my life that this is what I choose to do for fun. Kind of depressing really...

I flew into scourge for 13 mins this week. Never made it. Had to quit the game and try again 😂

1 ResponderBungie has applied Skill Based Matchmaking to the Tower to help balance the game. It may take a little longer to get to the tower to ensure that the other players you meet at the tower are balanced with your current skill level.

My last visit took so long my ship got air to air refuelled on the way there. Twice. Next Season .. Guardians !! .. Why not cut your journey's to the tower in half with the Eververse exclusive refuelling ship "Endless Journey" ?? .. Just 800 Silver with a guaranteed landing slot right next to Tess in the tower so you can spruce up your Bastion to match !!

1 ResponderAir traffic control in the tower is on strike. Ships falling out of skies due out of fuel, Tess opening fuel stations 3000 silver a litre. Done forget to visit Tesso to fill up before attempting the tower journey. This is why we can access Tess from orbit.
