When I was doing Corridors of Time Quest and saw our Guardian's grave I was wondering on who, how, or what killed us and I made 2 theories. Here are 2 theories that I had in my head.
Theory 1- That we had to sacrifice to the Darkness in order to save the Traveler and The Last City On Earth. It kinda makes sense since Bungie can kill off our character and start completely fresh in D3. Also Saint-14 said during the Corridors of Time Quest when we interact with the Casket, “Because, Traveler help us, she is gone”. So it kinda makes sense that we sacrifice ourselves with the help of the Traveler but I could be wrong since this is going to happen in the later years/months of destiny.
Theory 2- Someone killed us. I don't know who would kill us for whatever reason but It could be anyone in the Tower or a character we will see in the future. Saint also said during the Quest that they will get revenge on who killed you.
Those are my only two theories. But we might pull an Avengers End Game type of thing and come back to life and save the Last City on Earth. Who knows….
(If you have your own theories feel free to comment)

Editado por ShizukuXS: 1/31/2020 1:37:32 AMI can't say who, but i think we die as some part of a bigger conflict, if you recall the events from the missions of the nine you'll notice the last one is titled death, and then we're told we're to fight a war between 2 untrustworthy sisters, and a man who can't step up (the drifter), i think we die in some sort of cosmic level conflict, which would make since considering our guardian is a literal god killer

Tess killed us. Eververse eventually became so intrusive that Guardians are no longer able to obtain functional gear without silver.

Editado por Corrick II: 1/23/2020 5:19:37 PMWhat? Really? That tomb is our Guardian’s? Why does Bungie do this? WHY does Bungie put something like this behind one of the most annoying “puzzles” they’ve made so far and then give us the option to skip it? IF THIS IS SO IMPORTANT WHY DON’T THEY MAKE THIS A STAND-ALONE ACTIVITY YOU CAN’T SKIP? Bungie’s narrative team is SUCH a joke. They put in stuff like this as yet another throwaway event in an already weak season and expect everyone to be in awe of the “moment” they created. They have NO idea how to create memorable moments and then respect them by making them an integral part of the game. I mean... seriously. WE DIE, AND WE HAVE A LEGIT TOMB AND THIS IS SKIPPABLE? All this makes me feel is that nothing actually matters in this “story” anymore.

6 Respostas<The Darkness wouldn't take us and leave. It'd keep going until all became Dark. If Saint-14's thing about the Traveler was more than fancy wording, then it isn't the Deep. Inotam, Savathûn (or her schemes), and a Vex Overmind are still on the table.>

Probably Sathavun, they have been building her up since D1 and she has been watch us and planning. Also if she kills us at the end of D2 then, game wise, it give bungie a reason for us to start fresh in D3. (Similar to how we lose our stuff at the start of D2) I think either Dinklebot will return and revive us or we will make a new guardian and we befriends guardian uldren sov, since we wouldn't know what happened in forsaken.

2 RespostasI don’t know about your Guardian’s death, But my guardian dies from ass cancer. I’m trying to see if Saint-14 will send my proctologist back through the corridors of time and give my guardian’s “corridor” and lil’ cleaning. 😉

He said " Who or What killed you". One of the Bigger theory's is that we will be imbued with both light and dark. There's Proof that this already happened. Many are now seeing this as Perfect PARADOX 2.0..... Most likely what I see is we put ourselves between The Traveler and The Darkness. We then appear dead, comeback after the Second Collapse. The SC is going to happen. IMHO.

In a weird twist, Uldren kills us! Thus the circle is complete! XD
