When they removed bounty pickups at the D2 launch I missed them. I liked dropping by the bounty guy in D1, picking up what he had, planning what I wanted to do and then jumping in. It's world building and adds a flow to the experience.
There's more bounty vendors now so it's sometimes out of hand but I much prefer it to just having everything immediately available.

You might be the only person I’ve ever seen that actually liked going to the bounty board, but I’m not going to knock your opinion, I think it’s great that you like it. That’s why Bungie should make bounty pickups available in the Tower AND in the menus. That way both sides can have the experience they want.
-
I'll be the second person! I do like going to the Tower to pick up bounties. It would be nice if they would cut it down to 1 bounty vendor though. I'm also not opposed to the idea of being able to access all available bounties from orbit.
-
That bounty Frame in the Tower in D1, just bring him back. I think his name was -blam!-...
-
So you're saying you'd rather have an 8 minute waiting period, then run around the tower for 5 minutes just picking up bounties, rather than just open a menu from orbit? Don't get your logic, but okay.
-
It was different in D1. At first you only had the vanguard area and the bounty guy. Then they introduced gunsmith bounties in HoW. It was all based in the tower and in the early days there was no app. You'd have to tower anyway to respec your gear. You remember how'd we'd form incomplete circles in the tower to get people to join your fireteam to raid? Yea. I did that. Tower circles. Loool. No LFG for destiny at that point. Now we have multiple venders on multiple planets. Though some are obsolete bounty wise. Others not. I think it would make sense to be able to access all bounties available from your director with sub menus to make it easy to select the vendor. You would still need to visit planet side to collect rank up packages.

Then you could grab all 15 bounties and be done. Now we have 95 a day n only 50 slots, plus 8 min load times which we didn't have on PS3, the console they dropped because of loading issues, ironic hey
-
Everyone keeps saying 95 a day. Where is that number coming from?

Editado por TheGodOfShadowz: 1/7/2020 6:43:09 AMTop of my head Gunsmith 9 Eva 9 Zavala 9 Shaax 9 Eris 9 Lecturn table 9 Drifter 14 Ada 5 St 14 4 Werner 4 Devrim 4 Sloane 4 Failsafe 4 Asher 4 Ana 4 Vance 4 Petra 6 That's 103 a day and you can repeat the top 4 over and over if you wanted. And that's 1 character. And not including weeklies, adding weeklies you hit 118
-
If you travel to every destination and grab every bounty without doing a single activity that's your problem, not the games. Why would you even grab destination bounties and then travel away without doing them? It makes no sense.
-
That's 24, still leaves 70+ tower bounties and around 40-50 slots. Stop defending awful design decisions
-
You don't need to do every bounty every day. Why would you? You're choosing to play in a way that's no fun.
-
No other reason to do anythung else (for me). I don't play for fun, I play to achieve something
-
What are you trying to achieve? Bottom line is Bungie has designed the game to be fun. Speaking for myself, dropping into the tower, grabbing some bounties and playing for an hour or two is fun. I think that's generally how the game is designed to be played. I should note that playing it that way gives you all the xp you need to get through the pass/get a good power level with ease. I can see how picking up every bounty in the game every day and trying to complete it on every character every day would be terrible. I doubt it's even possible given the time it would take to do so. Plus, your game history suggests you're not actually doing that. But still, if you are it really is on you. That's a crappy way to play the game so it's not a surprise that you're having a crappy time.

Out of curiosity, how long does it take to load into tower from orbit on base PS4 Toshiba 500gb device? I upgraded my HDD to solid state 500gb 2 years ago when I found an instore deal for £60. I haven't looked back at all. I don't know if it's ware and tear but load times are starting to effect even me. Before I could press options, press R1 to go to inventory and it would be instant. Now, it like I'm running the original HDD. Considerable load time. At least 5 seconds. I dunno what's changed or when but seems real slow now. Or is that just me?
-
World building.
-
The first few times, maybe. But the 50th? Hundredth? Gets old real fast.
-
It's part of the loop. Go to the tower, pick up all your bounties, jump into the activities, come back to the tower to cash in your loot. I don't understand people going over and over. You can just grab all your bounties at once. And returning to the tower gives you a little break. Anyway, that's probably the design philosophy behind it. I get that people just trying to maximize loot/level don't love it but those people are clearly not the ones Bungie is trying to make happy.
-
You can't though, that's the thing, there's like 90 bounties and 50 spaces
-
There are 90 bounties in the tower? Also, ever if there are, your complainant is that you have to return after doing 50 bounties? That would take most/all of an evening anyway.
-
For me the issue is more switching guns nonstop n constantly having to check progress with what I'm doing, I'm opening my menu n travelling it seems nonstop, load times are slow, travel times are slower, and it's just grating and feels like overkill. Just had a thought from my other reply, what if load times are to extend playtime ;) now that's tinfoil hat time :)
-
Switching guns non-stop? Why?
-
The 95 bounties I need to complete involve using 17 diff guns, 3 times a day.
-
Literally nothing in the game requires you to complete every bounty every day on all three characters. I mean. Do it if you want but you're just creating your own problem.
-
And there are those who would like to maximize loot, but don't, because they don't care to experience the 10 minute "cooldown" screen. Again, if you would like to go to the tower, you should be able to do so, but there are plenty of others like myself who despise the constant trips out of gameplay.
-
Yeah. That sucks for you. Obviously there's more people who like it which is why it's in the game. Does suck for you though.
