Me too kind of. I started Horizon Zero Dawn. This time I'll finish the story lol. So far I'm loving it, agian

Been there for awhile. The sequel has been a constant road of disappointment. Nothing fun, interesting, or worthwhile grinds. It's why I've only logged on to see why people are upset at something then right back off.

I've said it before, and I stand by these words because of my own experience. Take a break for awhile! Play some other games! I tell ya, after awhile...the game calls you back. When you come back from an extended break, you will feel refreshed. When you start feeling stale on the game again, then rinse and repeat. It works! You don't have to give up entirely, you just need to take some time off. Good luck bud!

We need a true endgame. A reason to grind stats, rolls and looks. We need Trials.

Old players becoming less interested isnt something bungie should be to interested in. It happens all the time. However, the fact that they cant keep new players interested should be alarming.

I just played D1 and me and my wife were in awe of how much tighter things felt. Handcannons had great recoil, world's were loaded into much quicker, the variety of weapons from different activities was so vast and refreshing. The armor had faction gear, psion flayer gear, strike specific loot, iron banner gear that wasn't a reskin, shaders that rocked! It was just such a breath of fresh air. I saw a version of Bungie that actually had passion. A company that made the best of what they had and it showed with all of my 3 years of hard earned loot throughout my inventory and vault. All we could say was, "where did this Bungie go?"

Don’t worry. They’ll fix it. All they need to do is add more leaves to things. Like on ships. These are special leaves that can live in the vacuum of space. They can also make your weapons better and don’t burn from the heat. It’s space magic! Full ghillie suit ftw? I also love how the previous raid had the rewarded weapons looking like they were in the mud for centuries. Yea I really wanna grind for that. Awesome. Just awesome. Here’s hoping things will get better. Eris said said it does...”you get used to the pain”.

We all lose interest every now and then. Been playing Destiny since the Alpha and I still play it from time to time but I can't no life it like I used to. It used to be the only game I played after school, work, whatever. Had friends for days eager just to hang out and run spend our time in the strike playlist or just running around the cosmodrome. Raided every week, played PvP etc... Unfortunately that same mindset didn't translate over to D2 and I pretty much lost more than 90% of my original friends. Everything just feels too grindy, which is what the "community" wanted, I guess. I justed wanted a fun little looter shooter with space magic to kill some time. I hardly play raids anymore, PvP is a total bore, and they seem to "extend" the playtime just by making things more grindy to get. I don't much care for the elementary affinity gear. I still use some Forsaken gear since they have better mods (imo) for what my play style is. Despite the strikes being a bit more engaging than the ones in D1, they just feel boring. You can only get the Corrupted and watch your idiot blueberries fail to catch an orb so many times before you feel like snapping your neck. I know D1 had a similar problem, but none of the guns feel special to me. No matter what they are the best perks you can get always seem to be some kind of reload and damage perk. If anything, the only gun I actually enjoy is Luna/NF and they chopped its nutts off in pve because of PvP. I dunno. I'll always play Destiny from time to time but until the next season, I'm playing Warframe again. Max range Booben Prime with the new vortex is incredibly stupid fun.

I think we should all accept the disappointment. It's a shame really. Bungie seriously no longer has the inspiration. Or development power to produce for a full price AAA market. They just dont. So they should go all in free to play at this point. To me it's the only way to justify the quality and quantity of the content.

I have to say I am kind of starting to get into the same boat. I have been working to get "A Loud Racket", "Clean Getaway" and "Reconnaissance by Fire" done for the undying title, and between only getting 2-4 heavy bricks per 15 minute vanguard strike making it hard to get machine gun kills, Reconnaissance being bugged so only multi kill metals actually count rather than being worth the most, and the amount of grind it takes just to increase an objective by 1% I am going to be burned out by the beginning of next season. Honestly part of me is OK with that just because I hear the word Dawning and all I can think of is Y1 Dawning event which will always be know to Destiny 2 and even D1 vets that carried over who were there as 90% macrotransactions and 10% BS. I have been playing Destiny since the day D1 launched, and while admittedly D1 had it's own problems, at least by late year 2 and the beginning of year 3 the game was making a come around. D2 on the other hand, showed a slight flash of hope with forsaken, but then went right back into the dark hole is was born in. Bungie has made it very clear that they have no interest in making a game, only milking us of every penny they can through any means possible and after what Destiny 1 ended it's hart breaking to see what that name destiny has become.

The loot is garbage on this game I miss my ice broker, g-horn, black hammer, fatebringer and so many other legendary weapons

At the moment, I have no inspiration to play really. There’s nothing incentivizing me to play. I try logging in and end up staring off into the distance on the tower and then log off because I lost my motive to play. They seriously need to step up the creativity. I don’t know how Halo 3 had less content and kept my focus for years. Start from scratch Bungie.
