Hunters
So what’s the reason hunters are being nerfed into the dirt. Just played D1 again after 2-3 years and they feel better than in Destiny 2. Do the devs just hate them? If so, why put them in the game? Destiny 2 makes me want to wait for Halo to come to PC. I’m not the least bit excited about Shadow Keep. I honestly don’t even know why I play anymore. It used to be for fun but now it’s because I’m a completionist.
Edit: I’m simply looking for better Ballance in PvP and PvE. PvP Titans are obviously OP. In PvE, we need to be able to carry those select few “special” people who can’t seem to grasp the concept of the raid. Let us carry.

Hunters are fine. I think the flawless execution nerf was bs but everything else is fine.

Think Shadowshot from D1 to D2, no more blink, Bladedancer being incredibly mediocre in Y3. Lots of changes came to nightstalker also. If you ever go back again, play on Nightstalker in pvp. That subclass is so good for Pvp and Pve, its why it got changed so much in D2. Now we have dodges for all hunters, no more lockdown with smoke grenades, or 1 shot shadowshot (until shadowkeep woot), stuff like that. Hunters werent great in vanilla D2; all classes are in a great spot right now, which I really appreciate.

Like your reward for simply shooting someone in the head while crouched is ability to see everyone through walls? Like bruh what. And in PvE we have Nightstalker which has always been top tier, Nighthawk which has always been top tier, and BB + Shards of Galanor which is still pretty good.

6 RespostasA Hunter main asking for hunter buffs? How surprising! Hunters are totally fine, you are crying for cryings sake. In mid to high tier comp all you see is Hunters jumping round everywhere with HCs and Shottys, apparently they aren't as strong in PVP on PC due to the fact they are easier to track as they jump but on console they are god tier. You should be careful what you wish for as if you get all you desire and gain some kind of one hit melee etc they will balance that with a nerf to the hunters OP jump! How would you like a recovery added to readying up your weapons after you have taken to the air, similar to how blink works? I think you would cry even harder about that! IN PVE you have GS celestial for Huge damage, tether Orpheus for debuff and crowd control and either blade barrage, arcstrider or spectral for pure crowd control. HUNTER is absolutely fine!

2 RespostasIt's not just that they nerfed hunters, it's also that they buffed titans and warlocks, I mean hunters realistically have 4 viable subclasses for PvE (gunslinger, arcstrider, voidwalker and forsaken gunslinger) while Titans and warlocks can use pretty much any of their subclasses (well maybe not nova warp unless they buff it)

8 RespostasHonestly everyone has been focussing on warlocks and titans that us hunters are just doing our thing. I think we will be fine in Shadowkeep. Matter of fact I think we will be sought after for PvE events since we produce orbs and orbs and orbs. I'm on fence with Shadowkeep. I don't plan on buying it for at least a week or three after release.
