Right around 0:13 of the trailer, there's a wack looking wizard.
Its horns reminded me of Oryx, obviously, and the sheer size of that lad only means that it's important. The event happening around it too seems pretty obnoxious for this wizard to not have any significance. (Giant. Floating. Rocks. in. the. EDZ.)
And I swear, if this actually is Savathun as a joke Imma be mad.
But other than that, who the H e c k is this?

Spoilers below, all datamined stuff:
https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/cgo2ac/solstice_of_heroes_2019_datamine_guide/
The wizard is called:
Ir Abassin, Broodlost
I would assume is just a random miniboss nothing more.

It could be a lass. Xiru Arath would be my first guess, then, Savuthan

A big beefy dps sponge

Wizards haunted.

Just one of the bosses for the EAZ

Well, for some reason the Hive are now going to be in the EDZ for Solstice of Heroes. Hopefully we’ll get an explanation. Most likely, that Wizard is leading this Hive incursion to the Shard of the Traveler to eat its Light or try to use it for nefarious purposes or something. Considering the state of the Hive leadership, Savathûn is probably pulling the strings. But it would be absurdly ridiculous if that Wizard was Savathûn.

This is the problem with exclusives. I did some research and found out it's the same model of the ps exclusive strike. . . . * Angry squirrel noises *

Looks like the Broodhold Strike boss

14 RespostasIt's Hiraks wife, don't know how she's still alive

2 RespostasI think it was datamined I think the wizard is called. Ir Abassin, Broodlost. I may be wrong though.
-
17 RespostasHave you literally never played the Broodhold Strike?
-
4 Respostas<It's a carbon copy of In Ananh, the boss of the Broodhold Strike that is currently PS-exclusive. It's nobody truly important, no matter what name they give the model this time.>

The EAZ was created by a group of Warlocks, not the Hive.

1 ResponderSavathûn is just stopping by to say hi. And to let us know that she's gonna kick our asses at a later date.
