You could fly the sparrow by rolling to one side, and using the dodge function to maintain, or even gain, altitude.
This allowed for amazing stunts, huge gap jumps, aerial views of Mars and other wide open spaces.
This was amazing.
However, no matter how you combine the roll and bump, you cannot change your vertical velocity other than to simply reduce how fast you fall.
This is a QOL issue. Flying the sparrow brought hours upon hours of replayability in the patrol zones.
Please...horns and flight.
Bring them back...unless of course..you are fun police who hate children.
I originally posted in Help, because I thought it would be funny to act like ," oh surely bungie didnt MEAN to shit on sparrows so hard, it MUST be a glitch and they will patch it as soon as I tell them"
