Who Thought it was a good idea to Change Iron Banner to a Super Long Boring Quest now

I love Iron Banner and play the sh*t out of it when it comes around. The quest pretty much just ran in the background. But I had time off work and could grind away. It must be a nightmare for folk who have normal jobs and kids etc. I simpathise with them.

So this type of set up kills the enjoyment of completion, and I really was hoping to try and grind out a good set of decent perked armor. That third ornament set was my favorite and I was stoked it came back with random rolls. As it stands, imma have to wait until the next IB week before I have that capability. I just got to the non-stop grind and my heart dropped.

3 RespostasIn D1, Iron Banner got to a great pace where you could finish all bounties within a week on all three characters. The game gave you a boost for your 2nd and 3rd character. I don’t care for these very lengthy and high completion requirements for a bounty. Having to take an entire day just to try and complete on just one character - I played from when I woke up to late in the evening. I’m not a skilled PvP’er so I must work to get those kills, grenade plants, melee kills, etc. Bungie, really think hard about what you are doing to Iron Banner. I would rather see bounties with reasonable completion requirements. I want to be able to look forward to a Iron Banner rather dread the thought of having to grind on bounties that are going to take days to complete. Please bring Iron Banner back to a good and enjoyable event again.

Exactly....hella long for no reason at all!!!! It’s DISGUSTING 😴 you’ll spend half the day on it before you can even get the 3rd piece of armor...

These quests are so dumb. I was stuck on the grenade part for like 2 days... just trying to get 100%... and why make it into a % instead of an amount like 15 grenade kills. Make these quest reasonable...

2 RespostasI only like the boots gloves and bond. I don’t care enough for the chest and helmet to continue the quest. If it looked like the old iron banner armor from the first destiny I’d go crazy for it. I miss my T visor

The player base has generally not been in favor of this approach especially given that you can expect pinnacle weapons that are any good to be nerfed after you’ve finally acquired them. They took the N out of FUN and left us with a big FU.

Yeah I prefer IB armour being in the loot pool from the beginning, without the quest.

3 RespostasThen if you get mostly losses, you’ll be playing around 50 games to pass the last step for the helmet. So they drag it out in a massive grind, then just stick a bunch of games on the end to waste more time. I can’t even get a two streak tonight to glitch it.
