Good evening everybody! This is Aifos coming to you alive from a train on its way to the Galar region!
Papika: “Aifos, I don’t want to go catch Pokémon!”
Too bad, Papika, I do! So we’re going to Galar!
So, I’ll quickly go over the big things;
Full Camera Control
No more top down perspective, at least in the wild area. The camera gets set behind your character, and you have full control over it. Which’ll be great for finding...
Max Raid Battles
Here you fight gigantic Pokémon known as Dynamax Pokémon! They’re huge, and far more powerful than regular Pokémon, which means you’ll need help!
That’s right, gather up at Raid Beacons with three other players, and take on these Dynamax Pokémon with a group of 4!
Dynamax
But not only can you fight Dynamax Pokémon, you can use them yourself! Sort of like a cross between Mega Evolution and Z-Moves, Dynamaxing a Pokémon puts it in a huge, more powerful state. It only lasts 3 turns, but their moves because absolutely devastating for that time!
Of course, once per battle limit.
Legendaries
Sif is a Pokémon now, enough said.
Release date
November 15th. For the first time they’re also releasing a bundle pack, containing both games! No further details yet on that, though.
So, are y’all excited? I know I am! I’m not a fan of Raid Battles, but everything else looks great!
But that’s all for now folks! Jambuhbye!

6 RespostasNot every Pokemon is usable in the game (they can't be transferred to it) It's a cancel pre-order and ditch the game altogether moment for me.

8 RespostasGame freak is throwing their dedicated players under the bus, and marketing the game exclusively to people who haven't played a core series game. You won't be able to transfer pokémon from past generations into sword and shield if that pokémon isn't part of the regional pokédex.. Which, to me, just sounds like game freak is lazy and doesn't want to write 800+ new pokédex entries and are trying to cover it up by not letting you transfer pokémon at all, even though sun and moon didn't have a national pokédex yet still let you transfer pokemon in. I'd rather have a national pokedex, where every entry is just copy and pasted from onld games, and the ability to play my dream team in Gallar, rather than have dynamax battles and raid battles honestly...

1 ResponderBoy.... They’re really trying to kill my wallet aren’t they?

3 RespostasLooks pretty awesome tbh. I hope there's lots hunt down in the post game.

1 ResponderEditado por Hellfire: 6/10/2019 2:27:33 AMDynamax thing is ret@arded. But at least we get raids. The legendaries are ret@arded. They could have gone with a snail, toad, and snake. . I like the new crow Pokemon. Starters are decent. Dynamax Wailord.

1 ResponderThese Godzilla movies are getting weirder and weirder.

2 RespostasThat new sheep Pokemon is damn adorable. I'm actually excited for this game. Now we just need Animal Crossing on Switch.
-
8 RespostasBoth legendaries and Corviknight are awesome Wooloo is cute I already hate the grass types The turtle thing was just kinda there Dynamax is going to break the meta, but probably not in a good way I'm hyped though

Once again, Gamefreak prefer to give players a once and done, gimmicky experiment instead of fixing the franchise's major issues, and yet again breaking any kind of interesting strategy and gameplay... The monsters look great, as can always be expected, but when everyone involved with Pokémon cares this little about their franchise, I struggle to care also. But it is Pokémon, so it will sell millions and everyone will pretend it's perfect. Yay... I hate to be this negative, and usually wouldn't be, but Pokémon seriously annoys me these days.

1 ResponderDynamax looks... Interesting? Other than that, hyped!

1 ResponderThey really couldn’t have made the mascot have a sword for the tip of its tail? Now it has to have a bone sword in its mouth? Is it even a part of its body?

1 Responderit looks awesome! i like how instead of routes we get open spaces now. also one of the first things im gonna do after i get far enough, is transfer a regigigas and use dynamax on it. also hyped for the online raid battles. it also looked like the wild areas are online considering there were other players waiting near the raid battle thing. unless they are only visible within a certain distance of a raid encounter. but im definitely buying pokemon sword and shield.

1 ResponderFinally! A game worthy of killing density!

1 ResponderI'm pretty excited! The Galar Region looks like a really cool region to explore!

3 RespostasPOKÉMON MANETRIC:attack or defend
-
1 ResponderIt's not Sif. Sif is too slow with his attacks to make the comparison. Instead, the new sword wielding doggo is more like Repede.
-
12 RespostasI am most interesting, and I think I finally know what version I’m going to get with Shield. Armor Doggo looks weird but I just like it. Also same with Grookey.

1 ResponderVery excited for the bundle pack! That'll be well worth every penny, in my opinion. Also excited about the Raid thing, though I don't have any other friends who play, and I have to share the Switch with siblings... However, I'm not too excited about that Dynamax function. Seems like a Mega Evolution and a Z-Move combined into one... I liked the plain old Mega Evolution. Z-Moves are way too stress-inducing for me, as I never know when the best time to use one in a battle would be (at least, back when I start Sun/Moon).
-
1 ResponderSif? The goodest of girls?
-
3 RespostasDynamax... On one hand it's a really good concept. On the other hand... It's probably going to be like Z moves and Megas, completely tossed aside for a fourth mechanic that's only relevant for one generation.

3 RespostasI kind of wish the entire area was like the wild area. A little more similar to breath of the wild. Though I also think that some areas blocked off are good
