End does not determine who is right — only who is left.
-
You're aware the traveler abandoned the Eliksni in their struggle against oryx, correct? If they are just an off-shoot of what the darkness is, and the traveler itself fears an underling, why is the drifter wrong for his escapist ideals?
-
I mean...you either side with a broken leadership or a man who’s prepared to get the hell outta dodge when shit hits the fan. It’s pretty obvious who’s right
-
But then you look at it from the other point of view. You side with the Vanguard and with them, the City and it's inhabitants. Or you side with someone perfectly willing to abandon everyone and everything to the Darkness because he's too scared to put up a fight.
-
“Put up a fight”?? NO ONE can put up a fight against the Darkness. The actual Darkness. Not you, not the Vanguard, not even your Traveler could.
-
First, I never said that this was my view. Just that it was a view that could be taken by the 'other side'. Second, the Traveler fought the Doom Doritos off the first time. There's no reason to think She couldn't do it again. That's not even counting the literal army of immortal, reality-warping, warrior mages that'll be right there as well as possibly the Eliksni and a galaxy spanning empire known as the Cabal. There's also a reinvigorated Rasputin that's more determined than ever to defend us and Mara, who's new power has been hinted to allow her to straight up rip a Doom Dorito in half. The Traveler has a better chance of winning than ever.

Editado por DarkenedAcolyte: 4/6/2019 2:24:30 PMThe Traveler got destroyed the first time, so it won’t stand a chance again. The Eliksni hate us aside from Mithrax. Mara will die fighting them. The Cabal in general abhor us, so they will never join us. And as for Rasputin?? Who do you think put him to sleep the first time??
-
Editado por SancusXenon: 4/6/2019 2:32:38 PMThe most damage the Traveler took was by it's own hand at the end of the Red War. Hell, I think the shard in the EDZ was discarded by the Traveler herself as well. Mithrax's house is growing. And even if he doesn't get every single Eliksni, which he most definitely wont by the time the Doom Doritos get here, that's still allies. And with the Cabal. Calus loves us. Hes still officially the Emperor, and the one who was in charge died to us. There's only two individuals in the way of him regaining control of the Cabal empire. The next DLC in September will be focused on Sav. Which means she'll be dead. Which means the Curse on the Dreaming City will likely also be gone. Meaning no more Dul Incaru. Meaning Mara's Throne World is available for her use. Meaning our resident Queen will just reappear in there even if she does die in battle. And Rasputin put himself to sleep.

No. The most damage the Traveler took was when the Darkness crippled and destroyed it during the first Collapse before D1. What do you think put the gigantic crater in the bottom of it and locked it here on Earth?
-
Yeah but the traveller has plot armour so its probably gonna be fine.
-
Editado por SancusXenon: 4/6/2019 2:52:08 PMThe Darkness never destroyed the Traveler. If it had, the Traveler would no longer exist. That crater isn't a crater. Its simply where the masive chunk in the EDZ originally was. Which was, as I said, possibly discarded by the Traveler itself. It isn't locked here. It chose to stay here and is continuing to do so. It's basically been asleep up until a year and a half ago. Do you get up and walk down the street while you're asleep? No, so why would it up and disappear while in what's basically a coma?
-
Editado por DarkenedAcolyte: 4/6/2019 3:11:34 PMOkay. Let me rephrase that question. What do you think originally broke the Traveler? It didn’t break itself open. And yeah, it’s trapped here if it’s “in a coma” like you say. It can’t get away, therefore it is trapped.
-
Except it's currently awake again.
-
You know siding with the vanguard, ISN'T siding with the vanguard. It's siding with a detatched warlock.
-
Yes because it woke itself up.
-
You can side with these BALLS
-
Someone pointed out that you aren't actually siding with the vanguard, instead you're siding with the praxic order or just that one person from the order.
