After trying for weeks to get any of the crucible weapons, I finally realized, it's just Bungie trying to keep me playing, and not me playing for fun anymore. This game is rigged beyond belief.
It's supposed to be a looter-shooter, you know, grind a lot, get gear. But the crucible weapons are just out of reach. Not because maybe you aren't as good, but because you get thrown in random teams and match making is awful. Why is "get to fabled" the criteria, to get a weapon? It's way to random and doesn't give a rewarding feeling like for instance a percentage grind.
I'm a collector and want to get all the weapons, if that is not possible because of a comp-wall, then there is no reason for me to keep playing this game.
Edit: I see a lot of comments from console users, however I'm talking about the state of matchmaking on PC. And no I don't want the weapons handed to me at all, I want to earn them as much as anyone else. My problem is the state of matchmaking on PC and how it has too much influence on the result of a match. If you loose 5 times in row with 100/10 then I can't see where the matchmaking part takes place. I may never get those weapons due to not being good enough, but getting thrown in unwinnable matches over and over out of your control is just not ok. This may possibly not be fixable due to the low population of players playing comp on PC, but as long as it is like this, no thanks.

9 RespostasNot trying to take anything away from you but the logic of “I’m a collector and want to get all the weapons, if that is not possible because of a comp-wall, then there is no reason for me to keep playing this game” is no valid reason to quit. Not only that the notion it puts forth could have dangerous in game implications if acted on by bungie. You could use that same logic when it comes to raids or any end game exclusive weapons, saying you should be able to get them cause it matters to you and if you can’t you’ll quit but the fix (taking exclusive weapons out of those end game activities/pursuits) would make no weapons in particular matter from the standpoint of a collector. Then they would have to add unique and powerful weapons again but because they’re unique and powerful they would have to make a grind for them and you’d be back to where we are now. Anyone who feels slighted by the game or developers has every reason to quit. That being said don’t try to use the reasoning for your unhappiness to off-balance the perfectly acceptable system of having loot be specific to activities in a looter shooter game. To expand on the statement, if loot can be exclusive to any activity different loot should be specific to every activity including end game activities. If you take exclusive loot out of end game activities you take out an incentive for average players to grow and try to complete them in hopes of getting anything and for the more skilled/hardcore players to grind to get the absolute best rolls on the best, most exclusive gear.

1 ResponderYou make some valid points and i agree that eververse should be removed from this game, but Whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

6 RespostasThey take no consideration of solo players when designing how ranking up works. With PVP not getting regular updates like we were told it’s not a matter of “just play with friends” when most friends have moved on to newer games. Penalizing solo players who have been loyal AF to this franchise ain’t a good look. Hopefully they will someday realize that.

You are right. D2 is at the bottom right now.

Message people in the game who do well and ask to join up. It’s mad easy with text chat.

4 RespostasThe endgame for PvP focused players is to squad up and pub stomp with Pinnacle weapons in Quickplay to flex that K/D.

5 RespostasIf you aren't very skilled at pvp, why do you feel the need to get pvp weapons? And your age and reduced reflexes can definitely lead to a harder time being successful at crucible, but the weapons that require Comp to get, are really mostly tuned for crucible, so why do you, "need," them? Do you often run the raid? Do you have 1000 voices? If you do, awesome, if you don't are you able to accept not being able to get it?

Matchmaking varies a lot from platforms and location. I'm a decent pvp player (better than the average D2 player) but I struggle a lot in Comp because of how low the playerbase is in my area so I tend to peak at about 400 glory (last season points) before losing it all again. It's really not worth the stress so I just chill in Quickplay and Iron Banner.

Editado por FdYAcsoyPKN83gLE: 4/7/2019 2:40:37 AMBungie punishes both collectors and people who spend their time for being unluckily or not liking their way.

1 ResponderDe Nile is not just a river in Egypt. I feel for you but you need to accept that when you lose matches it is on you and not Bungie. You will never get better until you figure out your mistakes and change your behavior. This is the hardest part for most players and why they will never get pinnacle weapons.

1 ResponderBetter late than never, good riddance!

2 RespostasSolo players need a softer blow on the points loss. I recall Bungie discussing that last year and it just sort of disappeared off the radar. Baring Bungie actually getting their stuff together, you'll be stuck trying out different fireteams through the companion app or lfg. Over time, you'll build a list of good players that you synergize with and then boom, Lunas is yours. Method #2, invite the best solo players in a match to join your fireteam. You'll end up stacking the odds in your favor after a couple games and then going on a win streak.

I solo queued on PC to Fabled in about 50 games and got my Recluse.

I quit last November when I realized how truly awful the season pass was going to be. I'm surprised anyone finds this game enjoyable to be honest.

I am a solo player on console....i got my Luna's howl and Thorn the same day.👀 Shii was a breeze until i reached the Heroic 3 Half Mark. Then i had to clutch my arse off🤔🤔🤔 not sure if it payed off but i got the gun! Aaayyy! Omg! I had soo many clutch moments (the reason i play pvp)...sometimes the Ra in me Shines like no other.

3 RespostasEditado por Jet2Holiday: 4/6/2019 2:42:35 AMI'm trying to have fun in PvP. You know, trying random loandouts. My last game? A 5 stack with ALL UNBROKEN Title. ALL not forgotten. In quick play. This game has become pub stumping in PvP. Nothing else. Go to comp if you are so good. But if you are so good why pub stomping in pvp? Worst of all, why is matchmaking not matching stacks against stacks? The previous game before this one, we were against a 6 stack, 3 NFs, 4 spectral blades. I immediately matched the 5 man stack after that game was over. This pussies are probably avoiding other stacked teams too. This game has become so -blam!-ing toxic (I mean pvp) and bungie's infrastructure is to blame.

Totally agree, its such bad game design.
-
Agree 100% I quit my hunt for it on my pc account a while ago, not worth it. Was almost there on console before I switched but then season changed. It’s pointless. Every exotic quest should have options, meaning a pve path or pvp path of player chooses. Lores not ingame so who cares about where it comes from(quit beating that dead horse people) and destiny is pve at its core so pvp should nvr be required for exotic quests. Hopefully bungie gets d3 right and separates pvp from pve and doesn’t design d3 around pvp for pvp, time for some pve love.

2 RespostasI got lucky with solo grinding for Luna's Howl, but the other weapons? You can thank plebs with cheesy ass tactics to thank for me not getting up to that point. I ain't wasting my time to find a team, and I most certainly ain't gonna put up with any troll's BS that's along the lines of "Git Gud" or "You're just bad" or even "Just find a team... easy!" Lone wolves need more attention, and bungie is too busy sucking pvp players' bellends to notice what else is goin on.
-
Game is rigged yes
-
The fact that you felt the need to make this massive post just tells me that all you really wanted was attention, you just wanted people to hear you complain about a game you're just tired of playing and you don't know what to do. You'll be back. People who say their leaving never do. Unless it's a female, chances are she meant that shit...
-
Don’t ya dare look back, mang

A. You're going to stop playing a game you mostly enjoy because you are having a difficult time obtaining a few weapons? Maybe you're burnt for more reasons than that. B. It's a challenge to get those weapons yes, but you can do it and you can do it solo. I just got Luna, Redrix, and Recluse BY MYSELF. I'm not any good. If I can do it, so can you. Just don't expect it to be easy and be ready to go right get back in as soon as you get your ass beat. You have to get tough about it. C. Best of luck

You'll be back

Just so ridiculous I can't even muster a witty response.
