I know people will argue against this but first all, Quickplay needs addressing and worked on to improve it massively as right now it is a complete shitfest and has been for way too long!! Unless you are stomping on being stomped it is not Quickplay, it is a gruelling 10 mins o just horribleness!
People for long enough now have been telling Bungie this and suggesting what needs doing but unless it’s a nerf to a weapon, Bungie aren’t interested!
With regards t SBMM, this needs to implemented in order to bring some enjoyment back to Crucible cause if you are like me or slightly better - there is no enjoyment! Who wants to go into a match and get absolutely hammered by players who are so so much better than you! I have lost enough matches that losing isn’t an issue, but I hate being decimated because Bungie simply won’t apply SBMM! I much rather lose a match because it was a close battle, knowing that I held my own but just wasn’t enough at end o day!
Just played a match where the top player in opposition had 48 Opponents Defeated, there next player 18 - that shouldn’t be the case - that player literally decimated our team and carried theirs - albeit there connection is rather questionable, but, they are skilful, they had Lunas and was by far the best player in the match.
I don’t want easy matches, I don’t want to be top of the team every time but I do want a fair level playing field. I want to go into a match knowing that there is better players but as ma son would say, I don’t want to be going up against Gods!
Isn’t that how Crucible should be, a level playing field - a match where you can walk away, even from losing but saying.... that was a great match, I enjoyed that but next time, We will win!

1 ResponderI agree I’m sick of being killed by scrub Not Forgotten users who clearly have no skill and crutch on those guns

1 ResponderAbsolutely not Sbmm has no place whatsoever in social playlists. The same way it works in halo, fortnite and basically every single other game. You want sbmm? You've got 4 playlists for it. Qp is for fast matchmaking vs everyone. If you're unwilling to play ANYONE you match search a different playlist, but dont expect to take what is literally the only playlist with non-sbmm, draining player options in never a good idea nor should all of pvp revolve around the bottom tier base.

1 ResponderIf you want SBMM GO PLAY COMPETETIVE quickplay is connection based and I'd like it to stay that way thanks
-
4 RespostasDo people who want SBMM not know that comp has SBMM? Honestly if you want SBMM play comp, as for it being 4v4, I find it better than 6v6(too chaotic)
-
16 RespostasThis is the sweatys and trytards kryptonite they flat out refuse and lie out there front teeth about sbmm , because they don’t like playing people of there own skill, instead they love to squash level 7 noobs in quickplay.
-
1 ResponderWhat it needs is a way to evenly divide the teams after matchmaking (even if they're in a Fireteam), so all the good players aren't all put on one team facing off against a team of low-skill and low-level players. That would be the best way to fix this mess.

9 RespostasQuick play with SBMM would be boring
-
Just take a knee in the match. Don't rage quit, don't engage, your kd is gonna be destroyed anyway with the state PvP quickplay is in. Bungie may not change anything. Just run and hide or suicide off cliffs but don't engage. If enough people maybe did this when in matches against stacks and possible streamers... would the point finally start to get through. You guys are ruining this experience for other players. Period.

1 ResponderZero upvotes.... seems like most here (all be it a small sample) don’t like or want SBMM. It just doesn’t mix well with P2P connections.

3 RespostasBungie laid out what they wanted from Quickplay and Competitive before the game released. Quickplay was to have less skill dependency, and be focused on fast matchmaking and fast-paced games. Competitive was to rely on a matchmaking algorithm which focuses on skill first, resulting in longer matchmaking times, but more evenly matched teams. In short, Quickplay is, by design, not a skill-based game mode. Your anecdotal observations are in line with exactly what Quickplay is supposed to be. You are your own worst enemy. You've blindly entered Quickplay without doing your research, expecting a casual experience. The thing is, many would say that that's exactly what Quickplay is supposed to be, and yes, it is... For good players. Good players rely on players like you blindly entering Quickplay, because the 'Competitive' moniker is a daunting proposition, you avoid it. For that player with 48 eliminations, you were what makes Quickplay a casual and enjoyable game mode. If you truly want a fair and balanced game mode which focuses on skill-based matchmaking, you should be playing Competitive instead, and trying to get Bungie to play attention to the broken Glory system.

2 RespostasPlease give us skill based matchmaking. I am tired of breaking my dam back because I need to carry so many crappy people to a victory. It shouldn’t be like this. The game is slowing dying because of it. Will skill in the matchmaking the noobs will play noobs. That will fix a lot of the whiners complaining about being beaten so hard. This will also satisfy the better players by giving them an actual challenge that’s not forcing them to carry the team to a victory.

2 RespostasIt would be fine if everyone wasn't so... good. I don't understand what's happened to the game lately, where are all the average players? It doesn't even make sense for so many people to have Not Forgotten when the difficulty in getting it all depends on how good the rest of the population is.. so in theory only the top few percent should have it but I see it every game in quickplay. (Not a complaint about NF just an observation that shows only the top players are actually left playing).

6 RespostasDo you not remember the remove sbmm movement? I was a part of that. I like how crucible matchmaking is right now, and last I checked my K/D is terrible.

1 ResponderGet farmed unluckly
-
5 RespostasLuna made him good, 70% of players with luna have a 1.0 k.d or lower. The gun is broken and i will not stay in a match against it, im not changing my play style because its the only way to beat these guns.
-
17 RespostasEditado por Chains: 3/5/2019 8:36:52 AMNo why should good players be penalised while the people who haven’t put the time in get easier games to make them feel good. They tried it in d1 and it killed the game.
-
9 RespostasFact, Bungie already tried sbmm and it didn't work out. What they need to try is dedicated servers for PvP.
-
Aww someone better than you. That's not right!
-
7 RespostasIt's not Quickplay that needs addressing. It's Comp.
-
1 ResponderNo need.
-
1 ResponderI'm sorry but... Git gud N Don't suck
-
11 RespostasThese threads are always down voted by players who are scared to death of sbmm ruining their fun and will contain nothing but toxic replies. Your best bet is to tweet to bungie or post on reddit to have your voice heard.
-
3 RespostasI don’t think SBMM is a good idea for Quickplay because then all play lists would be SBMM. Personally I think it needs to prioritise CBMM then balance the teams more evenly.
-
2 RespostasSBMM should not exist in a game that does not use dedicated servers. Connections need to be the only priority for matchmaking with peer-to-peer...
-
Destiny is not a game designed to be a "level playing field". Competitive mindsets aren't one that really should have come to it ever, as the amount of negativity and hate for others spawned by Trials and the obsession with the meta has damaged the integrity of the community overall. Halo had the freedom of choice, Destiny could use more of that, despite being vaguely there already.

1 ResponderI like no sbmm because i like having a variation of games some difficult some easy. I don’t wanna sweat so hard every time i play quickplay. And yes i love stomping noobs.
