I think Bungie got it right with Jotunn
Jotunn is so much fun to use in PvE. It feels powerful and it's very satisfying to see the adds burn!
It's strong but not by any means broken in PvP so I think Bungie got the balance right for this gun.

Not broken in PvP?! Seemingly infinite range, tracking, one-shot fusion rifle with burn and AoE. Yeah, not broken at all.

It’s a very fun and powerful gun I’m finally using more legendary power weapons too for a change

5 RespostasIve already posted about how broken Jotunn is for pvp when it came out. Biased people will try to justify their case. Its OP period. And it need a fix Its just like those individuals that try to say that Nova warp wasnt broken and OEM isnt OP... Excuses and imbalance!

Given how much people complained about Telesto, I wouldn't put it past them to eventually start complaining about Jötunn if it starts getting too popular.

4 Respostas2 things I hate in all of destiny. Warlocks and Fusions. Jotunn though, I don't hate as much as the others. Is it strong? -blam!- yeah. Is it op/broken? Not so much. I don't want it nerfed, at all, but I do want it tuned. Yes, there are ways to counter it, but saying "dodge it" is essentially asking me to not get in that fight to counter it. Just "dodging it" sounds cool on paper, but taking into account lag, maps, and differing playstyles, just "dodging" doesn't work. I want it to be kept a cool gun, but tune it a bit. Throw it into the heavy slot, buff it's damage and aoe a ton, and boom. You've got something to drop majors or a group of adds in just one shot. Being in the heavy slot would allow it to be buffed a bit, and it wouldn't be as much of an issue in pvp, plus, you'd get one hell of an anti-major weapon in pve. What have we learned? If you use telesto, stop playing this game

18 RespostasIts a fusion that acts like a grenade launcher, it can map you in PVP, its a OHK at long range, it tracks (somewhat) and its jumped to #9 on the PVP list of weapons used. That is not broken? It the new Telesto.

It was sitting in my stash for a long time, I finally tried it in PVE. Apparently, I was missing out on a lot. It has great mob clear and even better boss damage.

Aye, fun in PvE and been I've just been using it in Crimson Doubles. Strong but not a guaranteed easy kill.

I don't think they should have classified it as a fusion rifle. It behaves more like a grenade launcher. But like any other good fusion rifle it's going to get nerfed.
