Scouts are currently horrible. I used to run a pretty nasty Hand of Judgement, but now I almost refuse to ever equip a scout. Autos are the way any shooter is going now. People can't shoot and prefer to just spray and pray they hit something.

2 RespostasHoly shit! Broke out a 650 void Bananahan scout for the heroic strike void singe. I was legitimately surprised at how weak it was considering scouts supposedly got buffed. The title of this game should be called- Destiny: Hand Cannons Forever

2 RespostasAuto's will never be the meta because of peek shooting and the neccessity of burst damage caused by that. Unless auto's killed signifigantly faster(which they should not for how easy they are to use) they will never be picked over hand cannons or pulses. Scout's should in theory be the same as Hand Cannons at range, but because of agressive frame pulses they have essentially become obsolete. A pulse has the same effective range, much more stability, requires less precision, and is far more forgiving. Not to mention the asinine amount of flinch they cause.

I don't agree. Scouts do feel more powerful now. I used them in places I never did before and they seemed better.

1 ResponderTry the Rapid Fire Frame Autos. Have a Hollow Earth and LOVE IT. Valakadyn is even better. I recommend.

4 RespostasIDK I’ve been using Suros Regime for the past few days starting with the Last Word quest. The gun’s been shredding. Not sure if this is because of the buff to 600RPM autos or what.

I've been using Hardlight to suppress the corners for about a week or so. The bright, bouncing projectiles tend to keep the apes from charging around the corner. With the buffs, it means they respect the bounce even more, and I get a couple extra kills. Nobody tell them I'm just hipfiring blindly.

I Havent tested Legendary Rapid, Adaptive and High Impact AR, but Suros Regime and Cerberus are pretty good. For scout now Black Scorpion is very good, finally it can compete with Pulse. The lightweight like Vouchsafe still meh...

Suros on dual speed receiver would say otherwise. Curated Vouchsafe would also like a word with you. Those are great and feel awesome in Crucible now.

The buff to scouts are quite noticeable actually. They are viable again.

Shows you how bungie gets by with it......Yes you are correct. The buffs applied did absolutely nothing to change these weapons value and usage in the game. If that was ever the goal I don't know how they came up with numbers that change....nothing.

It's Bungie's fault for making the best autos as 450RPMs. 450RPMs did not get buff which still means that autos are still useless. Scout Rifles will never feel the same way as they were in D1. Scouts are pretty much dead to me. I'll keep good rolls for the sake of having them and messing around with them on Patrol, but overall, they are dead in PvE.

Scouts would be competitive tight now if it weren't for flinch, autos went from trash to mediocre at best.
