Big plays, hopefully the franchise will move to a better place once the transition is complete.

So they split and there’s so much hate still in this tread from many people. I see it really simple, yes D2 wasn’t great on launch. It got much better when Forsaken hit... ... yet above all if I didn’t like the game, then I just wouldn’t play it. I really wouldn’t waste to much time typing complete rubbish like “its crap”, “it’s no good” and “it’s dead”. Yet people are still playing it, people are still talking about it, people are still streaming it. There’s still fun within destiny, plenty to do each week to level. We have 2 full raids, raid lairs, Gambit, PvP, PvE and plenty of collectibles to chase. I personally can’t stand PvP as I’m at best average at it. I’ll play just for Engram on reset. I really enjoy grinding for the seals. So close to Gambit one. I like the game now, I stopped playing after curse of osris as I thought 💭 it was no good. But after seeing trailers of Forsaken, I was sold and have just deep back into Destiny. It has its flaws yes, but overall I really enjoy my time spent on it. It’s in a good place now (after I’ve spent more then expected £££ to get there) Everyone is entitled to a opinion 👍 but can it at least me constructive & have some basic manners / respect. Thanks Shaun

Gutted, I was really looking forward to call of destiny-modern space war 18.

3 RespostasEven Activision could see that this game is bad.

66 RespostasActivision was responsible for the annoyance that was the eververse AND THAT'S IT. So unless that was your only complaint about the game, this means nothing. Activision wasn't responsible for the crap balance in PvP Or everything being constantly time gated Or half the exotic weapons being useless Or the distinct lack of content for the majority of the game's life Or for us not having faction rallies in ages despite needing them for certain exotic catalysts Or the drop rate for exotics The only thing that changes if Activision was never in the picture is MAYBE there would have been less stuff in the Festival of the Cost.

Bungie-"Does this new deal include funding to build the wall" Activision-"No we are not funding your stupid wall" Bungie *walks out having temper tantrum* Goes on Bungie.net posts "We are declaring a national emergency to fund the wall" Destiny Community-"This is what our money is going toward... They told us Microsoft would pay for the wall"

9 RespostasYeah because that is Activision that completely ignores what the community asks for on forums?

5 RespostasDestiny Mobile game in partnership with their investors from last year to be announced soon! mark my words.

Forsaken didn't sell well. Activision wanted out. As long as Bungie continues to cater to the elitists, YouTubers, no-lifers, and neckbeards, this franchise is -blam!-ed. 99% of the player base are normal players, that don't play 24/7.
-
7 RespostasHmm, is it all part of the plan to milk Destiny one last time when D3 comes out? The split will obviously be an opportunity for Bungie to put the blame all on Activition regarding the state of the game, so the community will forgive and forget and get -blam!-ed one last time for D3.
-
1 ResponderActivision probably mandated that bungie retain a larger playerbase and heightened consumer feedback so Bungo probably terminated their contract to get out of the hole. Not that they can actually make Destiny better at this point.. unless firing and hiring new peeps
-
Hey i wonder if the Activision shareholders forums are all blown up about letting Bungie go. Think about it.
-
1 ResponderHey bungie. If you're still listening. We want to go to the hive homeworld. Give us venus back. Where the F is the Stranger and related story? Also, not a fan on how shaxx stole our razelighter and didn't give it back. Like wtf. Oh. And maybe make mercury relevant by making the area larger than a toilet bowl. And while you're at it make the infinite forest less lazy.

5 RespostasEditado por TheArtist: 1/11/2019 2:39:02 PMThis is Bungie getting their creative freedom....finally. They freed themselves from slavery to Microsoft....but wound up sharecropping for Activision. Now Bungie owns the land outright. This was the right time to make the move, because it seems that the new CEO of Activision is trying make his own mark, and is taking apart much of what was left of Hirshberg's tenure. He probably wants to build his own empire, and not be seen as a steward for Hirshberg's. So this was a good time for Bungie to make a break for the door.

2 RespostasThis means there won’t be any stupid restructuring of the Destiny 3 story halfway through development...

7 Respostasand the game still sucks.

Honestly, I don’t think much will change. Destiny’s current problems are much bigger than just Activision’s influence. It has felt for some time that there is no one steering the ship at bungie, and it’s well known that if you work at bungie you’re not allowed to criticise those at the top and rock the boat. I have the utmost respect for the artists and gameplay devs at bungie, the problem is with those that decide how we interact with the destiny universe that don’t seem to know what they’re doing and lurch from one bad idea to another with no clear idea where they’re headed.
-
9 RespostasThis doesn't change the fact that the studio still has too many employees to efficiently manage work distribution, the game engine is still a joke, Marty and Joe are still gone, and the writing team still doesn't know how to write a children's book let alone a space opera.
-
3 RespostasThis is where Deej and Cozmo need to swallow. Slurp slurp boys. There’s zero faith among player base. Bungie is a shell of what it was back in the Halo days. Your publisher just shit canned you because they don’t believe you can make profitable games. Competition coming in the next month. Give me a reason to think Bungie has the talent, the ability, or the creativity to create games players want to play?

10 RespostasEditado por w3rdblader: 1/10/2019 10:18:22 PMAnd people will pretend like they're surprised when not a damn thing changes. Bungie knew what they were getting into long before the game ever was released. People pretend like they had zero options, despite being the people that signed the contract with Activision. If the game had any viability to it, I don't think Activision would have let it go. I see it slowly bleeding out over the next couple years like it has been. I don't see anything, even a destiny 3 release, causing any legitimate upsurge in sales
