Another day, another schematic, another 18 Kelvins
12/29/18 - Opened a schematic and got another 18 Kelvins

The last item I need for Wayfarer is the Niflheim Frost... I also keep the other 3 weapons in my inventory while opening nodes for schematics and turning them in. Ive been at this for about 2 weeks now. I did Nascent Dawn on my other two characters for the free Braytech weapons and you guessed it... Duplicates.
Ive been doing only schematic per day as to not waste stems. I have 34/40 nodes open.
Edit: 12/30/18 - I got a schematic on my 2nd node and it was a Frigid Jackal :(
Edit: 12/31/18 - I got a schematic on my 1st node and it was another Frigid Jackal! Wtf

It’s really frustrating and I’m inwardly pretty angry at myself for falling for this awful scam of artificially extending the game with ‘random’ rewards... ...now if only the Osprey would drop in the Nightfall...

I don't believe it's random at all. If you only get one crack a day, why would they give you what you're chasing. Its keeping you logging in each day. There's nothing worth doing in the game once you reach max light. PvP is cancerous. Loot -wise, the exotic drop rate is so low, its not worth the effort just to grind for that. The forge is a ghost town locked behind laborious and boring quest lines stacked with weapons which were definitely below par. Locking titles behind RNG, fed by scrounging tokens from patrols/public events is just to keep their player count ticking over.

Keep going. I have faith in you. RNG being tied to titles genuinely sucks. It'll happen eventually, though. [spoiler]I got half-lucky with my Wayfarer journey... because it's so retroactive I already had all the Braytech weapons, except the Osprey. But because I only ever did EP [i]once[/i] I had to get [b]all[/b] the weapons and armor from it. It was 4 weeks of tedium. But I got it. [/spoiler]

2 RespostasWould say just earn token and turn them in. Ooops for got token system was gotten rid because no one felt like earning token was a viable grind for weapons. Ok turn in resource materials for them. Oh wait whoops forgot y'all don't want to do that it's to much of a grind. Ok how about this play through warmind story it is literally a weapon you can chose from after completing one of the mission and going to Ana. Wait shit. They may have taken that out with this shit weapon system from forsaken or some other bullshit because that's just to easy. Well anyways good luck. Pretty sure mine is somewhere in the mars loot pool since so already unlocked the one from warmind ages ago.

1 ResponderHad the same issue. If you have a character that has not completed the nascent dawn quest step 1 only do this. You should get the weapon you don't have. I kept the other 3 in my inventory

I had the same issue a few weeks ago. keep up at it, I got it after a few days. The rng is absolutely terrible for those node weapons though I agree.

Pffft RNG is a bitch brother Once I had everything 385 during warmind, it was hours upon hours on mars farming for stems, and grabbing every node even after I got all 40 to get the nifilheim frost
