Day 1 player, BUNGIE PLEASE READ
I am a day one player, diehard through the good, bad, and ugly. I have never really felt the need to post on a forum or make one for that matter until now. I grinded through the first redrix claymore quest, it was very difficult playing solo but I got through it. Extremely situational gun, put it in the vault where it still sits. I felt prestige, that I conquered something very few would end up doing, and I did it solo....then you made the next seasons quest....with a better redrix. Ok well at least I can just get it to drop for me instead of barreling through another quest, it’s not as rare anymore but whatever. The next season Luna’s howl came and this is where the problem was exponentially magnified. I am getting penalized with negative points because someone leaves the game, or gets booted. Yes I still have a chance to win the game with a man down but it is an extreme disadvantage, especially against 4 that already HAVE Luna’s. Take away the subtraction of points. Give less points of you want the quest to be longer, make it mean more for a win streak, I don’t care what ya do as long as you take away the subtraction of points. Again I am a player that played through ALL of vanilla d2, osiris, every piece of good and bad content you have made. But I’m so frustrated with this I’m willing to quit all together.

27 RespostasAs a beta player who has played all the way through all the DLCs as well, and who also has The Claymore, The Broadsword, and Luna's Howl, I think the Luna Quest is right where it should be. The Luna is arguably the best hand cannon in the game and it's a Competitive Playlist Pinnacle Weapon, so yes, you should lose points for losing. If not we would have 10,000 people loading into Competitive Play, standing around, running in circles, playing target practice for the people who actually belong in that Playlist, ending up with the Luna based on time inside there versus actually earning the gun. Which would ruin the whole point of a Pinnacle Weapon. Prime Example: The Mountaintop.

Stop using all these stupid “DAY 1 PLAYER” and “MY CLAN HAS BEEN AROUND SINCE DARK BELOW” arguments. No one gives a shit, and that information is entirely irrelevant. Was the Redrix or the Luna’s available in D1, or during the Dark Below? No. Was the competitive playlist even around in D1? No. Does it matter that you’ve never posted on the forums before? No. Now stop making yourself look like an idiot.

I quit crucible and it was painful to stop but it had to be done Bungo needs to understand that if they don't fix this shit ... More players will go until there is just 10 guardians with no real life with not forgotten and dust rock and coil facing each other all day long

As someone that has quit. Don't quit over a trivial not really important weapon in the terrible crucible. You'll just return shortly cause you want it. Quit when all that's wrong with the game hits you like a brick and the game is boring and no longer fun to you. Even though you're having trouble in this wretched crucible I'll hope you and all others who want those 'pinnacle' weapons somehow get them without paying for a carry. Good luck!

To clear this up, I am part of a clan that’s been around since Dark Below. I play during a time when most are never online, so most my playtime is solo. I don’t mind it. My issue is not the skill level of myself or the teammates I match up with. My issue with the system is the subtraction of points due to losing a match that I’ve had a teammate either quit early, were disconnected, or the rarest possibility ever of getting DDOS’ed.

2 RespostasI think the Luna's quest is in a good spot. Many people own Luna's, especially compared to the claymore. I didn't earn the claymore, too difficult I assume that you play solo for your glory grind? You need to be extra patient to play solo. Many things can go against you. No communication, no team chemistry. Quitters. I was able to grind up to 1744 glory last season in solo queue, but decided to find a team for the last 300 points. When I play solo queue, I expect to have potatoes with out thumbs for team mates. If I want to win, I will join a premade team.
