Honestly it is starting to become to much i always pondered how we went from such good and raw story telling to this childish cringy joke and humor story telling we have now and apparently the new writing team is to thank Instead of embracing and expanding on the good lore in the grimoire they want to push their pg dumbed down lore as some sort of a ego boost im assuming ret conning most of the things the grimoire had established in the first place Prime example is making vance a mysterious and intising character pushed to a stereotypical stalker/obsession character for the sake of humor i guess well guess what making cool characters in the lore into jokes IS NOT FUNNY some people actual care about the tone and characters Another glaring issue is the entire curse of osiris cinematic campaign they were actually proud of that the most infamous guardian to ever live reduced to a mission giver like are you joking barely any interaction or serious/complex story telling just sagira and her annoying god damn jokes and cringy humor This is a disappointment i rarely get this upset over a video game but the lore being butchered like this is really starting to get to me i know bigger problems exist but seriously if possible get the grimoire writer's back or even have some of the community youtubers such as byf give suggestions all his ideas and speculation sound FAR FAR COOLER than anything d2's writing team has pooped out and for the love of god STOP WITH THE JOKES WE ALREADY HAVE CAYDE not everyone needs to be a corny and cringy joke character.
