Bungie, what the absolute hell were you thinking when you made this literal piece of garbage that you call a finished and improved sequel? The community is full of sweaty 12 year olds which makes It toxic and beyond pathetic, the armor sets for all three classes(with the exception of the lo sets which were clearly made with love and thought) are some of the ugliest I've seen in any game in my life, the raid is an overcomplicated shitshow that isn't worth the hour-long struggle required to reap its insignificantly few rewards, almost every armor set in the game is a pathetic reskin of an existing one,PvP is a failure due to every map being designed around corner camping peek-shotting nonsense, the "story" is dogshit with the only reason for so many fanboys kissing up to you being that there wasn't one in the first game, almost EVERY exotic is a so-called "returning" one reason being you lazy -blam!-s are out of ideas and are too clueless to put in the time and effort required to make new ones(and in D3 you'll just rehash the few new ones you added to D2)and need I even mention eververse?I didn't think so.Bungie,YOU FAILED.

2 RespostasNot on EVERY LEVEL. For the most part, the campaign got a lot of praise from critics and fans. The Soundtrack is great. And the gunplay ( despite the Primary/Secondary/Heavy - Kinetic/Energy/Power Weapon change ) still feels more satisfying than in any other FPS ( except possibly D1 ). I’d also argue that Vanilla D2 launched with more content than Vanilla D1, so there is more content there. The area where D2 fails ( and it fails spectacularly ) is in how shallow the whole entire game is. Destiny 2 wasn’t designed with replay-ability in mind. Lost Sectors and Adventures and all of Curse of Osiris are disposable missions, complete them once and then forget about them. Sandbox tuning has made everything bland and boring to use and robbed us of our space magic. There are no white whales to chase ( Gjalarhorn ). There is no carrot on a stick to chase after either.

It blows my mind how bad bungie -blam!-ed up the crucible. It’s such trash. I would pay all the money I’ve spent on D1 and D2 combined just to have the crucible from between house of wolves and taken king back. I would pay $300+ just to play that game again. Crucible was fun, and skilled weapons were king.

2 RespostasI think if you don't like it, DON'T PLAY IT How would you like It if I came to your place of work and said everything you do is shit! You have no idea what goes into making a video game....

33 RespostasTo say D2 is a "massive failure on every level" is quite the exaggeration. In the US, D2 was the 2nd highest selling game based on revenue for 2017 ( http://ca.ign.com/articles/2017/12/21/call-of-duty-wwii-destiny-2-top-us-sales-for-2017 ) There's a reason the game was so popular, lots of people enjoyed it. Sure there are lots of things Bungie can improve, but we've already beat that dead horse. But please don't try and make such a hyperbolic argument about how bad the game is, because that doesn't help anything.

1 ResponderPeople still play this game?

4 RespostasBro I left d2, playing that new game monster hunter world, no loot boxes and armor means something again when I go hunting for matts! This Monster hunter world is refreshing

6 RespostasD2 should never have been made. It should have just been a continuation of D1 as they continued to build upon the base game. With that said, why are they even trying to reverse-engineer D2 into being what we want it to be? It seems like that effort is duplicative and a ton of wasted effort considering the kind of reworks it will take to make D2 more like D1, which is what we all want. When they could easily just abandon D2, and use that effort to revamp D1 and start supporting it again. Seems to make sense to me.

3 RespostasEditado por Blind-N-1I: 1/29/2018 7:52:14 PMC’mon! Don’t knock it man. I got something like five Helmet of St 14s,five Gemini Jesters, seven Aeon Swifts, six Sidearms, and four Snipers in the last month’s worth of Milestones. How can that not be loads of fun. But seriously, I only log in and put myself through the punishment that is D2 just to see how far BungieVision is willing to go to run everyone off. I’ve never seen anything quite like it. lol For the 1000th time, “exotic” rewards should be a thrilling moment, not a reason why to turn the game off in disgust. Honestly, how is it possible that they simply can’t comprehend this. Either that, or they really are hoping that everyone quits and that this game just quietly goes away.

They think we're infants.slapped us all in the face

2 RespostasThe game is certainly struggling, but I wouldn't call it a failure. It just needs a few of the removed features to return. Also, I suggest you find the period key on your keyboard. It really comes in handy if you don't want to look like a nervous wreck.

1 ResponderWell at least it didn't fail on the gun-play, music, sound design, and environment design.
-
57 RespostasThen how come 650k people are still playing it? Not saying there's nothing wrong with the game, because there are still quite a few issues, but to call it a "massive failure" isn't accurate. At least not yet.

11 RespostasOne man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Bungie made this game for a certain demographic of people. You keep blaming bungie when your real enemy are the gamers who have different desires than you. They could’ve crafted this game to your needs, but your voice wasn’t heard through the crowd. You think a gaming company is honestly going to deliberately make a game that is going to enrage their customers and make them quit? Bungie isn’t your enemy, it’s the community. The community influenced bungie’s direction. If you disagree with the direction, find out who influenced them in this direction. Cause bungie isn’t out to get you. They’re out to cater to the players who will yield the most profit. And this game yielded them quite a bit of profit.

4 RespostasIf D2 is a massive failure why on earth do you have three maxed out characters? If u really thought the game was so horrible, you'd still be on level 2 power 25, not logging in every day. Case closed, thread dismissed as blind hate.

3 RespostasQuote from Activision Blizzard 2017 3rd quarter press release:
Launched in September, Destiny 2 is the best‐selling console game year‐to‐date in the U.S.2 Digital mix was over 50% of console full game sell‐through, a new record for the company. In October, we introduced the Destiny franchise to PC gamers on Blizzard’s Battle.net® platform, opening the franchise to new global audiences and future growth opportunities. If I failed like that, I would be pretty happy.

As far as I can tell you only played D1 for a couple of months, if that. And you haven't played D2 since the end of December. And btw, foul language doesn't help make your opinion more valid.

12 RespostasWrong on so many levels. Failure at every level? Not on sound design. Not on visuals. Just to name two. Such an angry child.

Editado por blade329: 1/30/2018 3:30:33 PMI wouldn't say on every level. I hear they made a killing with initial sales. Much like The Division, people spent money on believing the hype. Just like that game, they left in droves after a few months. So, sales wise, it was probably a success. Game quality, however, is a different story. Destiny 2 is a bad joke compared with Destiny 1 Year 3. Bungie couldn't even get simple things like player inventory done right, much less present an engaging game.

So are you, yet your parents didn't give up on you either, did they?

1 Responder>Io sets made with love and thought >every other armor is ugly Christ shouldn't it be the other way around? Asher's Io gear is ugly asf compared to stuff like IB gear, ornamented New Monarchy gear, etc

3 RespostasBungie has always had this rockstar attitude, so they thought they had a winner with this game. Glad to see them come back to earth after this epic fail. Now lets see if they still have the chops to come out on top. I don't believe they do however, but I've heard the Division has made a turn around. If that pile of shit can turn into something people are starting to talk about, maybe Destiny can too.
I wouldn't bet money on it though
It's not a failure for Bungie. They've been using all the empty servers to mine crypto currency. They decided 100 million billions wasnt good enough. So they made the game shitty so people dont play a lot, and they can make more mining crypto. Everyone can log out and help them mine some hash cash. If crypto falls more. They make an expansion, and sell you some Titan fart dust. Or you can buy some eververse laundry pods, and eat them. They can clean the poo stains from your gauntlets, but only if you bought the fart dust.....
