It was a shooter looter with mmo and rpg apsects to it, now it's a dumbed down kids game.
-
Not really, because at the end of the day i knew this was coming. If activision is behind it, it’s going to be very shallow.
-
6 RespostasI must admit that their was one point while watching the stream the other day that made made shout 'what!' and thought this is turning into a kids game. The moment I am meaning is when they said they were using two of the missions as strikes, and letting us play through them as missions first so people don't get confused or lost. running the strikes fresh. SERIOUSLY! WHO THE FRICK GETS CONFUSED DOING A STRIKE!

1 ResponderSounds like Bungie should have released this game on LeapFrog ...for the casual crowd
-
10 Respostas??? It's more mature than the first...way more depth to the gameplay.

It's Activision. Are you surprised? They're the kings of casualness. I mean.. Call of Duty isn't even out for a half a year before the hype train for the new Call of Duty begins. Destiny had the potential to be the World of Warcraft of consoles. Oh what could have been...

1 ResponderNo, I don't feel betrayed. That's because Bungie$vision has provided the best entertainment I have seen on this forum in the last couple years. Hell, just your post brings out the best in Bungie fans that "think" this is a good game and have this illusion that this comapny actually listens to them.
LoL
33 RespostasEditado por Baron01: 11/22/2017 2:47:49 PMMost of top posts on this forums are incoherently complaining about Destiny 2, most frequently mentioning phrases such as "no mmo elements", "dumbed down" or "casual". I'm a PC player so I did not have a chance to play fabled Destiny 1 but I recall how the game was trashed at the beginning for lack of content and system that did not work properly. I tried Destiny 1 demo on my PS4pro earlier this year but I could not hit for shit as a new console owner not used to controller so I disregard that experience. What is so dumbed down on Destiny 2? Destiny is a FPS that is inherently simple, you point out your stick in general direction of enemy or other player and you hope whatever projectile shoots from the stick hits your target. What was so complex on FPS concept in D1 that is not present in D2? I also wonder about that comment about lack of MMO elements? Again, what are those elements that are missing from D2? Can grizzled D1 veterans share their views with a bit more information taking into account those new to this frenchise?

2 RespostasEditado por ClovenTrack620: 11/24/2017 1:27:18 AMi kind of saw it coming since PC launch was announced, i knew they were gonna start handing out exotics and oversimplifying the game as much as possible so new players wouldn't go crazy with grinding the same activities for months to finally get something

Couldn’t have said it better myself.

Editado por Modus: 11/24/2017 12:45:51 AMsort of but more disappointed. It's clear the changes they've made was to appeal to the casual crowd. kinda a big middle finger to those who stuck through D1. Bungie, Please just release Destiny Collection on PC. why the hell did they drop the skill tree?
-
I don't feel betrayed, just disappointed.

Reading your posts are more rewarding than pretty much everything in d2

2 RespostasEditado por Blossom Fox: 11/23/2017 3:02:40 AMThis game is Full on Bullshit it could have been better like what were they thinking....

Its oversimplified so your grandma could beat the story and be competitive in the crucible. That's where we at.

1 ResponderAccomodate casuals. Alienate loyal fanbase. Profits.

Dude, nail on the head. Bungie took a good thing and made it for children.
-
They ruined solo play for casuals like DeeJ, and they ruined competitive play for hardcore raiders and PvPers like TripleWreck. They took fun and stomped it to death.
-
Yes. They need Destiny for Adults.
-
Funny thing is my nephew who’s 8 absolutely loved destiny 1. Was always begging me to play crucible with him, do raids and strikes. He stopped playing destiny 2 after a week and half. I asked him his reason, he just said it’s really boring and no fun.

Hi LittleSnake. Back for more petting?

Whack a mole really IS more rewarding ironically as you get a physical prize not virtual garbage.
