Seriously. If you're bringing back gear why didn't you bring everything? If you're bringing gear from D1 in a sequel that's supposed to be a brand new game then why am I giving you money for the same content again?

6 RespostasThis is the stupidest comment I've seen recently. When was everything destroyed? The city looked relatively intact to me. Was our vault destroyed? Was all the gear in there destroyed or salvaged? Sure the tower was destroyed, but was all our gear there? What about all the off world gear? Did the foundries all somehow forget to make suros regimes? Truths? Try and show your IQ is higher than your shoe size.

1 ResponderBait and switch. It's how corporations lie to get you to buy basically the same product. Then the go out of their way to publicly ask what you would like to see return even tho they already made up their mind about what is returning. It's less work for the corporation and a false sense of participation for the consumer. The consumer thinks that they are helping shape the game and the corporation gets updated surveys for when they can release or not release content for a product. It's sort of a win on both sides, even though it's a lie.

5 RespostasIt’s their back up plan Incase D2 bombed. And boy has it bombed. The game sucks.
-
Its common sence really.
-
All the gear has been mass produced as data in the form of engrams. Even if some copies of a weapon are destroyed, there's still a lot more.
-
What's the explanation of returning weapons in any CoD game? What about Diablo 3? Why are there still mushrooms in Mario games? Why is the Master Sword still in Zelda? Because, popularity.

Editado por CannyJack: 11/2/2017 1:19:42 PMIn-game? Basically, the patterns required to create most of the old stuff were lost. Not all of it. And Banshee, who has forgotten more about guns than the entire surviving population of humanity will ever know, can just build new stuff if he needs to. Out of game? To give returning players the chance to say "Oh hey, Hard Light!" That's about it.

Look at all these morons calling Bungie lazy. Get off your asses and do it yourself.
-
You sir just got an upvote from me and I'm on upvote strike. Oh I'm Salty.
-
I'm not usually one to spread any bungie hate as I've had my time from D2 but I also don't like bringing back content from D1, just seems lazy and a lack of creativity, I've got enough reskins in the game as it is. It's either they are running out of ideas or holding fresh content back for paid dlc, neither of which I particularly like.
-
They are too lazy to design anything new and this is why they said nothing would carry over from D1, so they could feed it back in D2 so you would have to pay for it again in the dlc. I didn't and still don't want any of the D1 stuff, I want new stuff if I'm paying for it and if they want to add old content then we should not be paying for it.
-
4 RespostasWhen Bungie left out things from D1 -Omg, why you no give me things from D1? When Bungie give things back from D1 -Omg, why do I have to pay for the same content again.

Their exact response: "Thanks for playing the beta, we can't wait to fully release this game!" - Deej
-
somewhere there's a guardian that loves VoG and had to buy RoI for it to be relevant again. came you imagine?
-
Because re-skins and old gear take less time and money to develop than brand new, that’s the only reason
-
Doesn't literally every sequel do that?
-
I know right it's not like we already have Hard light or anything I know ..........it must have been the gun my guardian was holding Your an idiot plain and simple
-
3 RespostasThey are giving you new gear. They’re also remaking some weapons from the first game that were popular. Not sure why that’s so terrible.
-
Spent about 10 minutes trying to think of a way where it makes sense. I got nothing
-
Oh look another one of these pointless posts....

6 RespostasHardlight- Omolon makes it MIDA Multi-Tool- Banshee knows his guns and made it from scratch Telesto- Reef made weapon Jade Rabbit- Its made by a foundry. (Possible) Thorn- It was made with Hive magic and metals and survived the Hellmouth for centuries.
-
2 RespostasBecause D2 is actually a reboot and not a sequel. These assclowns just won't admit it.
-
1 ResponderI want my old gear back, with the rolls they had. My favorite D1 guns were not meta, but I loved them. My Righteous VIi auto riffle, and my full-auto max stability DIS-43 and DIS-47. Bungie has taken my babies away from me, and I’m still not ready to forgive them.
-
1 ResponderBecause why make new things when they can copy and paste and then relax at the beach
-
2 RespostasIf they let us have our stuff from D1, how could they charge us for it all a second time as DLC that was chopped out of the full game to sell as DLC? Come on, guys. Everyone should know how Bungie plays this game by now. PC players? Welcome to another riveting episode of "When the Corporation Bends You Over..."
