Im just floored at how they allowed this game..

...to be launched how it is. Here I sit wanting to play but realizing there is absolutely no reason to play, nothing to do worth doing. That's pathetic bungie. Who is the moron in charge of the setup of this game??

THIS is how you make an end game that will last and keep people playing... "Bungie really needs to learn and learn fast that when it comes to end game and games like destiny you cannot have an endgame that has no reason to play it at all. For those who think I'm referring to the random perk rolls from Destiny one, although I do agree it's better than what it is now I also feel that was a failure in and of itself as a stand alone end game feature. Don't get me wrong, not that it was a horrible idea but for most gamers that isn't enough reason to keep people playing. When Bungie understands and comes to the realization that you have to have an endgame advancement system in place, this game will exponentially increase in popularity and have far less complaining. Advancement systems give you ample reason to keep playing the game and grinding even if you are not getting that weapon you want or not doing the raid or the Nightfall. As it stands now once you get done with the milestones for the week there is no reason to continue playing and there is really on top-end no reason to do patrols or anything else that has become pointless in the game. When a good advancement system is implemented it suddenly gives people reason to do just about anything in the game whether it be patrols or just running around killing stuff repeatedly or hitting lost sectors or repeating Adventures or story missions. What do I mean by an advancement system you might ask? I'm glad you asked. Let me just give you an example I had written up myself. This system would utilize the same experience bar as the bright engrams. Bright engram would just be a reward for gaining each AA (Alternate Advancement) point. Below I will give examples of how it would generally work as best I can in a forum. You would have an AA tab on your character page called Alternate Advancement. Within that page would be categorical tabs: General AA's, Class AA's and Subclass AA's, Code/Path/Way AA's(depending on your class). General AA's would be things such as glimmer gain while playing, dismantling items, token gains while playing, shaders increased chance to get them, resist to burns void, arc and solar, HPs, Mobility, Recovery etc. GENERAL AA's: Examples: Glimmer Miner: 0/20 (Increases all glimmer gained by 1% per point spent) Token Expert: 0/5 (Cost 5 AA points. Gain an additional token in all activities upon completion. Includes chests) Expert Dismantle: 0/5 (Cost 5 points. Dismantling gear and weapons grants an additional shard) Shader Seeker: 0/5 (Increases your chance of getting shaders by 5% per AA spent, up to 25%) Solar resist: 0/10 Void resist: 0/10 Arc resist: 0/10 (Increases resistances by 2% per point spent, up to 20% reduction) Sparrow Booster: 0/3 (Each point spent increases speed by 10%) Sparrow Artillery: 0/5 (Cost 5 points. Attaches artillary guns to your sparrow) CLASS AA's These would revolve around the 3 sub-classes for each class, such as the Titan being the example here. These would focus on the Barricades, Grenades, Jump and Super Fortified Barricade: 0/5 (Cost 5 AA points. Increases the damage your barricades can take before breaking Barricade Output: 0/10 (Cost 5 AA points. Allows you to shoot through the barricade at a significant damage cost) Sentinal Grenades: Suppressor Grenade enhancer: 0/5 (Cost 5 AA points. Increases time of suppression by 2 seconds Magnetic Grenade enhancer: 0/5 (Cost 5 AA points. Grenade explodes 3 times upon attaching to enemies) Voidwall Grenade: 0/5 (Cost 5 AA points. Increases duration of the grenade by 2 seconds) (You get the idea, it would have similar things for all grenades on each class. Same goes for the jumping abilities) I dont want to waste too much time with showing ideas as I know these might not even be viable but it gives you an idea of how they could do it. This would play out the same way for the "Code" classes in each Sub-Class. For example, the titan ward of dawn. Everyone remembers how in D1 the Titans Ward had 3 different settings for it. This could be implemented in the Code tree Code of the Protector. It would look something like this Code of the Protector: Ward of Dawn: Weapon damage modifier: 0/10 ( Cost 10 AA points. Gives you a damage buff of 20% for duration of the Ward. Leaving the Ward cancels the buff after 10 seconds) Shield modifier: 0/10 (Cost 10 AA points. Duration of Ward gives you an extra shield bar on your health. Leaving the Ward cancels buff after 10 seconds) I could go on and on showing ideas but I dont want to spend another hour doing so, I think you get the idea of it anyway. Each Code Sub-class could have its own AA's as well that further enhances each one in and of itself. There are so many ideas you could come up with for these AA's. This is something they desperately need to implement. Even D1 failed in my opinion by only have the random perk rolls on guns as the only real reason to grind. For most gamers that just isnt enough. Those things STILL keep you mainly just playing the hardest content as those are the only places to generally get those things. AA's make the entire game worth playing, even if its just screwing off in the patrol because your friends arent on. You will be willing to play about any part of the game because you're gaining AA's, thus advancing your character and making him tougher. You have a reason to do Adventures, Lost Sectors and other things that have mostly become pointless right now. They could even have weekly heroic adventures and lost sectors that you could do that award a full AA points for completing. Have maybe 5 per week that you could run through to get those AAs. Just an idea but one I think they need to do. Most games like this have this type of system and thats why they have people still playing them in mass numbers after 20 years. You have to give players a reason to play every part of the game, even the tedious running around just killing and grinding AA experience. This does that in spades. If done right you could literally have 300 to 400 AA points to go after. Also, they could implement harder content of various sorts that unlock as you hit certain AA totals. Exotic quests, new adventures, lost sectors, harder raid and nightfall modes etc. What say you..."
